Get matched with top contractors in Lynbrook, NY

"We started out with a budget just for the kitchen to repaint the kitchen cabinets, replace the flooring with porcelain tiles, redo the peninsula, use quartz for the counter tops, add recess lighting, and center the lighting fan. Into the job, based on Harvey's excellent advice, we decided to get new kitchen cabinets, have Harvey and his team build storage cabinets above the new cabinets instead of having a soffit built in that open space. We also had a pantry rebuilt by Harvey and his team as well. Lastly we had the peninsula changed to an island with cabinets added underneath as well. Also, we decided to redo the small (powder) bathroom on the main floor. Harvey and his team were awesome. He was very patient in allowing us to make changes to the original plans that turned out quite outstanding. His team always showed up early for work. The quality of the work was simply outstanding. Instead of half doing things like what we got with the Home Depot contractors in years prior, Harvey and his team took things back to the studs and made sure the things were built the right way. I now feel very confident about what is behind the walls and how the work was done. I will attached pictures of the kitchen and bathroom by next week. We are still putting things back into the new cabinets now and etc. We are extremely happy with the work Harvey and his team did. We intend to use them for a few other projects in the future. If you're really thinking about having work done on your home, I would highly recommend that you speak with Harvey to have his team come to do an amazing job for you as well. He will work with you on to provide competitive pricing. In the end it's all about quality work that you can feel great about. We feel great!!!!!!! :)"

"Fine Design did a great job on our bathroom from the gutting to the finish. Dave and Lenny were easy to work with and the workers were great! Cleaned everything up each day and were very polite. The quality of the work is outstanding. Everyone was very professional and was a much more pleasant experience compared to other contractors I have used. Thanks again-I highly recommend Fine Design."

"If you like quality work with personable people, he is definitely the contractor to go with! His prices are very reasonable."

"OMG! We hired Nunez Construction to remodel/refresh our bathroom. The owner, Efren came in, we told him what we needed, he told us what he could do and a reasonable price. After meeting other contractors we found Efren to be the most punctual, personable and professional man exceeding all others. He immediately complied with all documents required by our co-op and arranged to do the work. His 5 men team are also punctual and professional; always cleaning after themselves. Working well and responsibly focus with each other. We will highly recommend Nunez Construction to anyone needing any construction work in their home or apartment. We already recommended them to our neighbor who saw the work they did and was impressed with the end result."

"Robert did a phenomenal job on all aspects of the projects. He was especially knowledgeable in regards to the different options we might have along with costs, as well as bang for your buck. His work is flawless and long lasting. If at any point you had a question or were unsure about how something was coming out (which is common with any remodel) he has a way of assuring you, and is open to reworking things until they are to your standard. His experience also makes him a terrific sounding board to discuss ideas and possibilities before endeavoring to begin a project that may have implications that you havent considered. He is not the most expensive contractor you will find, but he offers the best value of any that we have worked with in the past. He renovated a bathroom, a living room, a dining room, stairs, and a patio door, which included siding."

"Rocco the owner of the company really brought my vision to life, all his employees are extremely talented and with their years of experience made it look easy. "I hired Tanem Construction to remodel my bathroom in April 2026. They were professional from start to finish. Mike provided a detailed estimate, and the team arrived on time every day. They were careful to protect my floors and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day. The work was completed on budget, and the tile work is exceptional. Mike offered valuable suggestions that improved the final outcome. Highly recommend! Truly a five-star experience!!!"

"Miguel and his team were recommended to us by a friend. We had discussed our Kitchen remodel with 2 other contractors in addition to Homes and Beyond.  We Chose Miguel because of his competitive pricing, professionalism, knowledge, and easy going style as he was willing to consider any possibility we suggested for the re-model of our Kitchen. We live in a Co-op apartment and Miguel worked with us in supplying the Co-op with their exhaustive paperwork involving licenses, contracts, insurance, designated clean -up, etc. He understood we were working within a budget and explained the cost of items and work up front. He made the process smoother by having various back-splash and flooring in his showroom at very competitive prices. In addition our baby was born a month early and Miguel's team worked quickly and efficiently to complete the work in about 3 weeks, this includes a 1 week wait for the counter-top to be measured, ordered, and installed by the counter-top company. The job foreman was Freddy who is a perfectionist with an eye for detail. Freddy was in continuous communication with us from the demolition to the back-splash and painting. He kept us informed of what was being done and made sure we understood each step of the project asking us if we had any questions, he also presented various options we had not considered which increased our satisfaction with their work. He even pointed out an issue with damage to the stove and an issue with the counter-top measurements in order to cover more area, neither is his responsibility, which was helpful. Freddy made it clear to us that he wanted us to be happy with his work.   So, not surprisingly my wife and I were extremely satisfied with Homes and Beyond and we will ask them to help us with our next project which will be our bathroom."
