"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. This man is an absolute top-rate craftsman of the highest order. Every single job that he has done for us has been done with great care, detail, and amazing quality. All of this done with complete trust, no price increases unless there is an impending issue that comes up, and extreme reliability. We have other work that we need done, and there is absolutely nobody else that I will ever call in the Hudson Valley - Anton is our man! We have had nightmare issues in the past finding good carpenters and contractors - they are usually not reliable, do garbage or incorrect work, overcharge, etc so when we found Anton, we were amazed and are now thrilled. If you need something taken care of in your home or want to upgrade some appearance, painting, stonework, repair, decks, I give my highest recommendation to call Anton. Also, Mark is an extraordinarily articulate person and explains every detail and every decision to make as he proceeds. We replaced old and cheap molding with beautiful architectural molding and trim and it is not an exaggeration to say that he transformed the look of the house with his work. The job consisted of having to remove the left side door frame and molding from our bathroom door which they took great care in doing thus minimizing any destruction of the plaster walls. They expertly installed the new frame and rehung the door perfectly. They also repaired out front exterior door which was out of plumb and not closing properly. And also replaced our exterior basement door. They also replaced a damaged tongue and groove knotty pine board in our stairwell leading to our upstairs bedroom. Joe and Chris explained everything they had to do to complete the jobs and Joes estimate was reasonable in price.
