"Anton, the owner of European Craftsman and Remodeling, has done a lot of work for us over the past few years. He has painted and fixed the entire exterior of our home, repaired our roof, built a beautiful front patio with stonework, and also re-finished our cedar outdoor deck. This man is an absolute top-rate craftsman of the highest order. Every single job that he has done for us has been done with great care, detail, and amazing quality. All of this done with complete trust, no price increases unless there is an impending issue that comes up, and extreme reliability. We have other work that we need done, and there is absolutely nobody else that I will ever call in the Hudson Valley - Anton is our man! We have had nightmare issues in the past finding good carpenters and contractors - they are usually not reliable, do garbage or incorrect work, overcharge, etc so when we found Anton, we were amazed and are now thrilled. If you need something taken care of in your home or want to upgrade some appearance, painting, stonework, repair, decks, I give my highest recommendation to call Anton. "Working with Mark has been absolutely terrific start to finish. A perfectionist and really an artist in wood, every single part of this job to the smallest detail was done with exquisite care. Also, Mark is an extraordinarily articulate person and explains every detail and every decision to make as he proceeds. We replaced old and cheap molding with beautiful architectural molding and trim and it is not an exaggeration to say that he transformed the look of the house with his work. "Overall about the best contractor experience we've had from start to finish. The job took about 2.5 weeks. It began with the company's owner talking with us regarding contract and timing. The contract itself was a clear indication of throughness and detail. Every workday began with a chat of what was to be done and ended the day with a thorough clean up. On average there were three employees, all incredibly professional, very accommodating, great senses of humor and personable. For example, when they painted the entire interior, we asked if they could leave one bedroom and bathroom for last while they painted the rest of the house. On a few occasions, we asked for a paint color change. The contract didn't call for swapping out a few light fixtures but they did so without hesitation. Every request was fulfilled. They work was amazing. The house had some damaged Sheetrock and popping nail heads. Most of it had not been painted since the original paint job almost 30 years ago. The 20' ceilings presented real challenges but all was done so that the finished job makes the house look brand new. The carpentry, electrical work and door installation all are perfect. Most importantly, the professional workers clearly enjoy their work, enjoy working together and made this job for us, more like a social event with friends coming to visit daily. The owner of the company Dave Nessel is a serious (but with a sense of humor) knowledgeable businessman and a pleasure to work with. I would hire Unique again without hesitation for another job. They do quality, professional and spotlessly clean work."

"Tim did an excellent job of replacing main beams in living room and bedroom. Tim and his team did an excellent job of moving all my belongings so they could do the work. The work they did I could never have done as neatly myself. Along the way Tim kept me informed as to what was happening in words I could understand. He also connected me with painters etc who could help finish the job. It is almost impossible to see the areas Tim worked on, the finishing work was so meticulous.
