George Apap did work at my condominium development. I store large pots under my stairs, which have been stored there over five years. When the workers came, my tenant inform the workers to be sure to put the pots back onto the stairs when work was complete. The pots were never returned on the stairs they were stolen. I called the company and and the next day part was returned. I’ve been calling the company now for four months asking for George to call me back. The amount that it was stolen is about $320. I received a call from his company stating that George refuses to call me back. Be careful hiring this company as a bunch of thieves that work there, including the owner himself. The owner of the condo and the owners are Work that was completed was horrendous.

Boards replaced or repaired. Primed and painted new wood. Blended in to match undamaged siding. Always professional. Left area clean. Notified if delayed due to weather.

Great, 2 men work on repairing and painting the house. Plus they stain the pool deck. Quality of work: excellent. Also they clean up everyday .

It did not go well. It was a while ago, but I never wrote a review for a job not well done. Owner's son had to revisit the site twice and attempted to explain a poor job, Still, he sent back workers and eventually fixed it. I am hoping that they have improved over the years. Have found other professional painters since that time. Too bad, for they are local and always want to support a local business.

Ridiculously expensive and absolutely awful company to deal with. Sloppy job with paint drippings on the walls. My kitchen cabinets are completely destroyed. Chipping and splitting and parts of cabinets completely left unpainted. The work was done incorrectly. They refused to repair the damage and I had to resort to a small claims lawsuit against this company which I unfortunately lost due to the fact that I accepted a small refund for the work done. Things have just been getting worse with time as each time I even lightly hit a pot or pan against the cabinet a paint chip appears in them. Stay away from this awful, unprofessional excuse of a company.

We were flexible with our dates, so a 15% discount was applied. We originally had the downstairs windows replaced in the fall, and were extremely pleased with the work. The following summer, we ordered the doors and remainder of the windows and continued with the rest of the house. Steve had estimated both jobs, and advised us of different ways to proceed, since we were retired and would possibly sell in the future. Still, we wanted it done cost effective and without any shortcuts, since there was always the possibility of remaining in our residence of 37 years. I was concerned with gouging the house during the power washing, as was done years ago, but that had not happened, and the house had cleaned up nicely. The paint job turned out beautiful, and I can’t say enough about the carpentry work and the head carpenter, Walter, and his helpers. He offered us choices, without taking shortcuts. Walter is talented carpenter who worked quickly and efficiently. &20Marie, a very pleasant lady and the work coordinator, kept informed about when various areas of the job would commence, and communicated with the different teams and myself with any concerns or questions.

Terrible experience with this company. At first they seemed so professional and polite, however, after a few months things went down hill. The horribly sloppy work on my painted kitchen cabinets got worse over time. They started chipping and peeling and I was told by other professionals they were primed incorrectly. There were parts of the cabinets that were not even painted which I did not realize at first. The rest of the house had paint drippings all over the walls that I did not notice at first because of the rush we were in to move in. For the ridiculously high price we paid, the work should have been neat and professionally done. Unfortunately I lost my small claims case against them because I at first accepted a trivial refund. They basically said have someone else fix our mess. We are not dealing with you anymore. They should absolutely be ashamed at how they left my house. To have their name associated with this mess and not care is beyond me. Only saving grace is the fact that I have talked a few people that have seen my house out of using this terrible company. Stay far away!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The cost was higher than other quotes, but I had a good feeling with the company. That with knowledge that this would be the only time I will have this done me glad I selected George Apap Painting. The whole crew of 10 or more different people over the two weeks or so that the project required were outstanding. This was done 5 months ago and I have not found the slightest reason to call them back to correct any shortcoming.

it went very well. A few hic- ups due to my work schedule, but the floor was refinished including the original owners attempt at hiding a floor register hole. Wall trim was installed as well as the sliding almost barn doors we had ordered. Painting was done on all. Also patched a hole in my porch roof where the squirrels made their home last year. Everything is spelled out well and if any additions or changes are needed, new forms are done. No surprise charges at all. I have plenty of photos if I can upload them

Last fall, they came and made it worse. First of all, it was dangerously slippery after they painted it. Never telling me I needed another type of paint to prevent that. It cracked, peeled and bubbled immediately. They made it so uneven that I had puddles in the garage for days after it rained which I did not have before they did the work. They came back twice to try to fix, it but the same problems occurred immediately after they let. They said they would come back in the spring to only patch it again, but they would be unable to fix the puddle problems. I just got Premier Garage to fix the floor and it came out perfectly.

Exceptionally well. Work was performed on time, very professionally and in an extremely clean manner. Leon was a master of his craft. Wallpaper removal was problematic, but the company was well prepared to handle and it all came out well. Would easily recommend this company highly for any painting project.

I wish I could give an A+ rating on here to the George Apap company. Steve Apap was my assigned estimator and since reaching out to me about my project, he has always made himself available to answer my questions and to offer me the best price possible. Each day I met with a different crew member in the renovation of my son's room (carpenter, painter, door installer, wood floor crew) and every one of them had the utmost professionalism. To top it off I was also assigned a project manager, Marie and we've become the best of friends LOL as I continue to bug her with every afterthought that ran through my mind. I believe my price was very fair for the job quoted and I certainly could not have come close to doing the same job if I farmed the work out to several people to try to save a few hundred bucks. Each day my home was left extremely clean, the job explained to me and a pleasant smile was shown. I will definitely hire George Apap again.

It's delayed. It took a much longer time than agreed or I have expected. Very loose organizing. The people, you saw kind of different people. Many people are involved, but few people are doing the work.

Carpentry was handled by a subcontractor, which is fine, but it was not disclosed when work was contracted. (Note: George Agap does not accept AMEX which is a negative.) Painting was amazingly professional and detail oriented. This is how it should be done!

George APAP is incredibly professional. If you are a busy person, do not bother getting quotes from three outfits: save yourself time and energy and call George APAP. This company has been in business for more than 80 years and it is immediately apparent why from the first contact with the company: the client comes first. George APAP is an extremely organized approach, almost a methodology. There are standard processes that the employees in the company clearly follow from the top to the bottom, from the office to the field. These home improvement professionals mean business:

-Exceptionally prompt and respectful of my time (e.g., apprises of ETA by text, keeps owner informed when not on premises, arranges the following day's activities in early afternoon the day before and discusses with owner--imagine that: discussing timing with the owner?!@#$?!)

-Exceptionally professional, technically speaking (meaning that G. APAP team members not just prompt, neat, and all the soft skills that say "professional" but also technically masterful at painting...I have a wonderful 1960s Eberhard built home, and the paint job is very visible bc of the huge amount of light in the house downstairs...exceptionally well done - clearly experienced painters with refined technique)

-Exceptionally knowledgeable about George APAP company (e.g., shared the history, shared the multi-generational knowledge that the owner has, shared the other services that the company provides - key for the type of person that would use George APAP...a busy person who needs to rely on a contractor)

-Exceptionally well-organized and client-oriented team structure (the idea that there is a crew leader, the crew leader introduces himself as such, the crew leader actually leads, and the team actually wants to be led, the team is incredibly efficient, is truly a team which you can see from how they interact and have each others' backs...it is nirvana in contractorland!)

We were guided every step of the way by one or more of the professionals in the company. Every member of the team clearly knew his/ her trade. The staff responded in a friendly and helpful manner to questions that we had and spent several hours working with us on just the right color choices. They always worked around our priorities for the day and were very flexible to changes we made along the way. Co-operation was clearly a priority. The painters always arrived on time and stayed well into the day to make sure they remained on the projected time line for the project. They worked diligently and concentrated on their goals for that day. When they left, the house was as clean as it was before they began. My wife and I especially liked, that the people working for George Apap were employees of the company and not subcontracted which made them more appealing to rehire for additional work. A supervisor followed up during the day, to make sure that the job was getting done to our satisfaction. We always felt at ease and comfortable inviting them into our home even when we would leave to complete outside errands. The company has a carpentry staff as well, and we needed their help to change-out doors and doorways as well as make general repairs. The finished product was perfect. My wife and I have a glowing recommendation for the George Apap Painting Company, and the work that they do. We honesty have nothing negative to remark. How many contractors can you say that about! We had originally obtained 3 separate estimates before we chose Apap. While they were not the lowest in price, we had heard very positive remarks from people in the community they service. Value is a better choice than price alone. Quality, Value, Craftsmanship, Honesty & Integrity is what The George Apap Painting Company is about. We are completely satisfied with every aspect of the painting project that the George Apap company team has carried out in our home. We heartily recommend them and will call them again in the future.

I received 3 estimates before starting this massive project.  Apap won the work because they gave a written estimate of the

job in a four page contract.  They described all the steps including our responsibility ( removing furniture, closing windows)

Then their prep work, (sanding, replacing trim, fascia boards, wood repair, power washing) It had been over 20 years since the last paint job so they had to apply primer and 2 coats of exterior paint..  They worked quickly and finished the job 2 days ahead of schedule.  They painted 2 exterior doors and a porch fence which I wasn't expecting.  The house looks great and I'm sure the neighbors are thrilled because the house looks so much better.
