Best glaziers near Poughkeepsie, NY

"We hired Sergio and his team to retile our bathroom and install a new vanity and lights, complete with the attendant plumbing and electrical work. They were responsive, showed up on time, completed the work quickly and efficiently, and left us with a beautiful bathroom that looked brand new. The tiling work, in particular, was very well done and displays expert craftsmanship. We are pleased with our experience with Veterans Tile and would not hesitate to hire them again."

"We really like our new windows and sliding glass door. They were very professional and did nice work. Everything looks great!"

"John and Jason arrived on time and replaced a very large picture window and a smaller window. I am very happy with the windows . They look beautiful. John and Jason were very professional and did a wonderful job. Now I am kicking myself for not replacing a few more windows!"

"Windows are good. Work was sloppy. Still finding shards of glass on the floor and the furniture a week after completion. Caulking looks like a third grader did it- including caulking the screen door to the frame. For this type of investment, they should act like professionals."

"This project dragged on for four months.   I first tried to get an estimate in August, and while the door was in place by the end of October, the final touches were not complete until December.
My first two appointments for an estimate were cancelled, and rescheduling was difficult.  FInally Jason himself dropped off a catalog, and said to call him with a couple of choices.   This was fine, although actually getting the estimates took longer than I would have expected.  We decided on the door and sidelights I wanted, and the installation took place a few weeks later.  Some interior molding was missing, and the installer said he'd be coming back to finish that up and do some interior caulking.  Right away I noticed the locks weren't functioning properly, and Jason came out the next day, and after a half-hour or so of trying to get them to function properly, he said they were no good, and he'd take then back to Home Depot to exchange them for good ones.  He had a rough time getting one of the locks out of the door, but after he did, he took them back to the store and returned with replacements.   He quickly installed them, and they are working fine.   As far as the molding goes, the missing pieces had to be ordered, and when they finally came, they were to wrong ones, so they needed to be re-ordered.   Finally the installer came back with the moldings, installed them, and did the caulking.
The door looks great and I am very happy with it.   However, throughout the process I had trouble reaching Jason and getting calls returned.  I felt that he was dragging his feet, and that this project was a low priority for them.  This is in marked contrast to earlier in the year when I had Xterior Solutions put vinyl siding on the house.  Communication and responsiveness was much better on that project.   That being said, the work done was excellent.   And Jason's primary installer, Ed, is a pleasure to work with.

"We replaced the windows in our 1933 home through the services of MadCity Windows. From the initial contact with their sales representative to final installation, the company provided top notch professional work. With the draft from the old windows and the cold of the glass, we are already saving on our energy bills. Our house had old, large windows, so they had to be custom made. As an industrial designer and interior designer, we find our windows to be of excellent quality."

"The first guy Chris who came out to measure was really through and came up with some creative solutions for a slightly tricky shower door opening. The two guys who did the install were equally awesome and did a great job! ! They were even so considerate and wore shoe covers while in the house. I would definitely recommend Tri County Glass!"

"My name is Jason Haslbeck and I live in Chester County, PA. My wife and I have used Castle Windows for the replacement of all our windows, a new front door and now a new custom French Door slider (three separate project installations). Our sales representative, Roberto Munoz, has been an absolute pleasure to work with for all of our installations. Their customer service is excellent and their products are the best in the industry. Their lifetime warranty is legitimate and very valuable. Due to the Corona Virus, our latest project design consultation (French Doors) was done over the telephone using a ZOOM application. Very convenient technology and the presentation was very professional. On a personal note, our sales representative (Roberto) is a very faith based, honest human being and we have never been happier with a contractor or sales representative. I would highly recommend asking for Roberto Munoz as your sales representative as he is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Overall, from my experiences, Castle Windows is the best window and door company in the region. We did extensive research in comparing them to Pella, Anderson and other companies and Castle's product quality, installation and pricing was the best value by far. I would normally never take time out of my day to write a review, but my experience with Castle Windows (and Roberto Munoz) is one that deserves recognition. Jason & Hope Haslbeck Chester County, PA"
