Denis, the owner, and his team at AGA Roofing seemed promising when we hired them for our commercial building to apply silicone to our 150,000 sq. ft. warehouse roof. They offered a five-year warranty, but just a month later, we discovered a leak. Denis promised to fix it, then vanished, ignoring all calls and emails. They even got blocked on Thumbtack for non-responsiveness. This company proved to be unprofessional and unreliable, leaving us with a leaking roof and a worthless warranty. We strongly advise against using AGA Roofing for any projectâ residential or commercial. Spending a little more on a company that stands by their work is worth the price.

The garage of my home had an active leak. I hired AGA Roofing Company in NJ on 4/28/2024 to replace the roof of the garage and the front entrance. After the job was done and the roof was completed, I hired a general contractor on 5/8/2024 to replace the ceiling and the wall of the garage. When the sheetrock was removed, the contractor showed me the rotted on the plywood of the walls and clearly the presence and the smells of the black molds. The contractor also checked the ceiling joist (Rafters/beams) and there are molds as well. The contractor said: Unfortunately you already put a new roof. From the photos taken by AGA Roofing, it shows some of the rotted rafters with black molds on the garage roof and front entrance. The AGA Roofing should have informed me and discussed this issue with me before they did their job. I would have chosen to fix these problems and I would have to wait to put a new roof on (I was at the house while they were doing their job, as a female I am not able to climb to the roof to watch them, I just trusted them). I didn't expect they would do such a terrible job. They covered up the rotted beams and the black molds with a new roof. On 5/10/2024, I called Dennis (Owner's son) and I told him that I should have been notified of these. He denied that there was mold and rotted beams and he requested to discuss it in person the next day at 10:00 AM. I asked him twice to make sure that he will come to the house, and he said yes. On 5/11/2024 he didn't show up, he didn't call nor texted me that he wasn't coming. After I waited for an hour, I texted him and he gave excuses the reason he couldn't come. How could I trust him down the road for the 10 years warranty? He doesn't even want to take responsibility for the terrible job his company did just 2 weeks ago. I was also wondering why he only gave me 10 years warranty for a new roof, generally a new roof warranty is 30 years, maybe because he knew that he put a new roof over the rotted beams with black molds. It is clear they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and safety ( mold can cause serious health problems, especially l have 2 small kids and a 4 month old baby). Now my general contractor can't continue working on my garage, we are waiting for AGA Roofing to resolve this issue. Our plan is to fix and remove the rotted beams, hire a mold assessor and mold remediator, hire a new roof company to remove the roof and redo the roof again. I no longer trust AGA Roofing company and will not continue to do business with them. My general contractor and I asked an opinion from another roofing company about these issues and were told that AGA Roofing should never put a new roof over the rotted beams and molds. All these problems caused by AGA Roofing wasted my time and my money. I later found out that AGA Roofing Company is not licensed in Rockland County, NY. They are only licensed in NJ. AGA Roofing lacks accountability, didn't take responsibility for their mistake and their terrible job, they are incompetent, lack communication and didn't address my concerns and provided a poor service.
