"Someone called back right away and schedule to come to our home at 10am. They were 4 hours late. Two guys, one seem to be professional and knew what he is doing. They checked 3 bathrooms and drain pipe, and suggested I replace the flappers, seal one of the toilets, and put epoxy around the possible crack in one of the drain pipes. The whole job took less than an hour and cost me 620 dollars. I am new a home owner and don't have much experience, and I did not request a quote in writing, but I was told in the beginning that smoke test will cost 550, if it comes to it. They did not do it. I feel they used my inexperience to gain. Not to mention, that the problem of smell remained unfixed and I did not see any changes in how toilets work."

One other plumber responded but I could not understand his heavy accent, and he asked me if I wanted him to replace the whole burner assembly. That made no sense to me and I questioned him about it. Suddenly he became "too busy" and hung up the phone. Another plumber didn't respond until Monday morning. Too late. The fourth plumber never responded at all. Cassidy asked if it was an emergency or could wait until Monday. I said Monday. and asked what time? I did not get an answer on Friday. Around 8:30P I called and got an answering service which told me that I wouldn't get a response until Monday because their office closed at 8:00P. I had asked about what time on Monday before 6:00P George arrived Monday morning. He was friendly. He knew what he was doing. He replaced the thermocouple. All work was done neatly and professionally. We have hot water again. I'd use Cassidy again."

"The job took 1.5 days because I had moved everything to the center of the basement. They had 5+ feet of clearance around the perimeter, with plastic covering hung from floor joists. The dust still managed to cover everything behind the plastic walls. My advice: do a thorough job of sealing the space or be prepared to have a big dust cleanup. Only disappointment was that the drain at the foot of the steps to the bilco doors was positioned directly below the internal door. You cannot install a sill on top of this so when finishing we will now have a dangerous transition. This was never explained. Otherwise, a great crew."

The 1st pro told me that my unit was not worth servicing (over the phone without even looking at it or with me giving him make/model/years old), however when I spoke with Edwin, he said he would come for a service call to accurately assess the situation. He was able to service our boiler and make a couple minor repairs. We are extremely grateful as new homeowners to have been able to work with someone honest and knowledgeable who didn't try to push us toward spending more money to replace the whole unit when we can have a couple more years of use from it! Edwin was also very communicative - we spoke over the phone and via text. Everything was completed in a timely manner and I am extremely satisfied to have a working and safe boiler (natural gas) now!"
