"From the estimate to the completed work, I am very happy with how things went. The woman who answers the phone for Ace Chimney was so pleasant , Pete , who came for the estimate and also did the work with an another gentleman was very personable and explained my options. They came when they said they would, performed the work as stated in the contract, and left my patio very clean. I would recommend this company. They charge a fair price for an excellent job and are truly appreciative that you chose them for the job. This is something not often found today, and this is one customer who is grateful there are still businesses that feel this way."

"Absolutely first class all the way!! Tommy did the initial inspection and also was here to complete the job. He knew exactly what was needed and unlike others, didn't try to scare me into adding more work. They provide many other mandatory home services that when i need, they'll be my first call!! Thank you Fred's Chimney Magic for removing the stress!!!"

"$225 for an inspection; $350 to seal cracks around the crown of the chimney. I don’t if these charges are in line with other chimney inspection companies."

Customers say: Terrific value
"Paul is the man!! I wish every contractor I ever dealt with was like Paul! Honest, On time, Clean, and more than fair price! I had a badly deteriorated steel firebox in a brick chimney that was unusable. Other vendors gave me "ridiculous" estimates for repair, wanted to remove brick facade to access, and wait till spring. Paul showed up, inspected the situation top to bottom, and provided a sensible solution. I hired him on the spot. He realized the urgency needed, and was there the following Monday. He finished in two days what others would have taken three. Protected everything, cleaned up, and no removal of facade. I now have a functional, beautiful fire-place. New brick firebox, dome, flue, and repointed exterior to prevent moisture from seeping in. A job done right! I wish I could post before and after pictures. I would not hesitate in recommending Paul to anyone! Thank you again Paul!"

The average cost for a professional chimney cleaning is around $250, but prices range from $130 to $400 or more, depending on a few factors. Some things that have an impact on your total include the size of your chimney, the number of chimneys cleaned, and how accessible the chimneys are.
The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.
Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.
The National Fire Prevention Agency (NFPA) recommends chimney sweeping once per year as a means of avoiding house fires and massive property damage. Over time, creosote and soot build up in your chimney from burning wood and a lack of ventilation. These compounds are both highly flammable, which means a build-up of them inside your chimney puts you at an increased risk of house fire. Chimney sweeping removes any residue and helps reduce the risk of property damage and personal injury from fire.
The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.
If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200 per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50 per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
On average, chimney repairs cost about $455. However, because of the vast range of potential repairs needed, the cost to repair a chimney ranges widely from $160 to $15,000, depending on the type and extent of repairs required.
