I had a badly deteriorated steel firebox in a brick chimney that was unusable. Other vendors gave me "ridiculous" estimates for repair, wanted to remove brick facade to access, and wait till spring. Paul showed up, inspected the situation top to bottom, and provided a sensible solution. I hired him on the spot. He realized the urgency needed, and was there the following Monday. He finished in two days what others would have taken three. Protected everything, cleaned up, and no removal of facade. I now have a functional, beautiful fire-place. New brick firebox, dome, flue, and repointed exterior to prevent moisture from seeping in. A job done right! I wish I could post before and after pictures.
