My experience with Bill was a very professional and pleasant one right from my first inquiry. I recently painted and purchased some additions for my bedroom with the intention of possibly purchasing new carpeting!  I needed some guidance and a professional opinion since I was over budget and was considering keeping my cost down by having the carpeting cleaned instead. "They did a great job, however I agree that his responsiveness is lacking and he is very difficult to get ahold of. I know a few people who had negative experiences but for the price and his quality, I think he is worth it. Moreover, he painted my whole living room by himself in just 4 hours with 2 coats of paint and it came out great. You should know, when they mention 8' of wall, they count it from the ground up and not from the molding up. I was charged an extra $120 for an additional 4" of wall space which was not painted since it was covered by the molding. No big deal, but just be aware."

"From the very beginning, the people we dealt with were polite, accommodating and very responsive.  We had an emergency because of damage in our apartment, and a tenant was about to move in.  We had to have our new carpet installed YESTERDAY!  Mike took the number of the carpet I chose, measured, and gave me a very reasonable price.  He also indicated that they could install the very next day if I wanted.  It was installed a few days later, and the job was beautiful.  Amy, the office person at Empire, could not have been nicer.  She took my payment info over the phone (I was out of town), but declared she would not charge me for anything until I reported to her that I was satisfied with the job.  I would recommend this company to my closest friends!  Thank you for a stress-free job well done."
