"I had my walls done in 2024. I ended up removing one wall for a remodel and found the wall had limited insulation from USA Insulation. I called them and they came out and look at it and did a thermal image. They said that a wire mess in the one room caused the wall to not be filled. They should have known there was an issue. I questioned the rest of the house and they said the thermal image showed no heat loss. I doubted them and they said they could drill holes in every room. I drilled three holes on the outside of my living room. One showed insulation but did not fill the cavity. The other two did not show any insulation that the thermal image did not catch. They offered me $250 for the one room. They have not responded to 2 emails and 2 phone calls after I found issues in the living room. They said they would make it right and told the BBB they would make it right and I have not heard from them for 3 months."

The wood flooring, tiles, walls, and some doors were damaged and not fixed. When asked to come back and fix the problem, Jay proceeded to flip a switch and bully/verbally attack the disabled individuals of the home, making comments about themselves and their dogs. He made comments regarding what the animals are being fed and their lack of exercise, even though the one has an autoimmune disease, the other is 16 with one eye, and the third is mentally disabled. He then proceeded to block the client on messages and social media platforms."

Three signs that you need crawl space insulation are drafts, high energy bills, and mold. There are two reasons why cellulose insulation repels rodents (and insects). First, the insulation has been treated with boric acid, which is a natural pest-repellent. In addition, the loose-fill style of cellulose creates less-than-ideal conditions for mice and other rodents to nest and burrow, helping to keep them at bay.

Insulation can be easy to install, depending on the condition of your walls, but there are many safety considerations and potential challenges involved. Your insulation installer will work around wiring, fixtures, outlets, and switches, even if they’re installing fiberglass batts in the voids where wires run.
