I had my walls done in 2024. I ended up removing one wall for a remodel and found the wall had limited insulation from USA Insulation. I called them and they came out and look at it and did a thermal image. They said that a wire mess in the one room caused the wall to not be filled. They should have known there was an issue. I questioned the rest of the house and they said the thermal image showed no heat loss. I doubted them and they said they could drill holes in every room. I drilled three holes on the outside of my living room. One showed insulation but did not fill the cavity. The other two did not show any insulation that the thermal image did not catch. They offered me $250 for the one room. They have not responded to 2 emails and 2 phone calls after I found issues in the living room. They said they would make it right and told the BBB they would make it right and I have not heard from them for 3 months.

"We appreciate your feedback and are very disappointed that your experience with us was not a positive one. When you reached out to us about your concerns, we came out and inspected the areas involved. We advised you that we would correct the area of concern as well as provide a complete thermal scan of the rest of the area worked on. Unfortunately, you refused to allow us to fix our work and demanded a 50% refund for all of the work completed (which is in no way reasonable based on the volume of work completed). We then provided a thermal scan with our high-end thermal camera (the same camera NYS uses to inspect our work). You said that you didn't trust the thermal camera and again requested a refund of 50%. You would not allow us to fix your issues and refused to come to an agreement of a reasonable refund. We cannot base any type of refund on anything other than the facts and the tangible information we gather. We have no issue with correcting our work to make it right and would welcome the opportunity to do so."

Our experience with USA Insulation was a nightmare. We signed a contract, paid a deposit, and were forgotten for weeks until I followed up. The original estimator was fired, and instead of honoring our contract, they reassessed and raised the price by thousands. We reluctantly agreed and spent two weeks cleaning bat feces as instructed. On installation day, the crew said it was an easy job, but the GM refused to proceed due to feces in a corner and canceled the job. After six months of delays, broken agreements, and wasted effort, they refunded us and walked away. USA Insulation is unprofessional, unreliable, and does not honor contracts. Avoid them.

We have lived in our home for almost 30 years. The last few winters I have noticed that it was colder, more drafty in the house especially around the window and attic door frames. I saw a commercial on TV from USA Insulation of Buffalo this fall and it spoke to me about everything that I wanted to address in our home and how “They” could be the company to do the work. My husband and I were not disappointed at all from beginning to the end. We started with a phone call to a very pleasant- knowledgeable receptionist who set us up with a very pleasant- professional- knowledgeable Sales Rep. His presentation was so thorough and well done that we committed to a “Job” that evening. We were totally impressed with the product- the quality and value of price. Our install date was this past Friday, 12/3/21. The install “crew” arrived promptly at 9am and went over everything that they would be doing. Again- “Top Notch”, knowledgeable, friendly and professional individuals. Their cleanup was impeccable, you would never know that anyone had been there. We have already noticed a big difference in these first few days, especially after “the High Winds” of Monday, 12/6/21. The house is quieter from outside noise and the drafts from the attic door and window frames have disappeared. Thank you USA Insulation of Buffalo for a job well done! From your Commercial- to your Office- Sales and Installation professionals this is a highly reputable company to work with and be proud of. My front and side windows were very drafty as the wind comes from the southwest and blows down the soffits. My wife wanted to replace the windows which would have been very expensive. When USA Insulation installed the additional insulation to the entire first floor of my 1-1/2 story house, we noticed a big difference in the first 3 days. The house is much quieter from outside noise, there is no drafts in the window frames, and the furnace isn't kicking on every half hour. We have a pellet stove insert in the living room and haven't had to light it in the past week and the outside temperatures have been in the mid-thirties. I'm saving money on propane and pellet fuel. The crew that installed the insulation came to my house on time. They were very courteous and polite. They did a full house walk-through inspection and explained every thing they needed to do. They worked together as a team and finished the job in less time than I expected. They cleaned up before they left and you'd never guess what was done. I don't normally do reviews or surveys but I had to comment on this. I highly recommend USA Insulation and have already told my friends and family about this excellent work.
