"Colin and his team installed our 6 ft fence in about two days. They did a great job. The fence looks fantastic. When I noticed some warping, Sadler came out, made a couple of minor adjustments and it's been fine since."

Customers say: True professional

"Steve with Fine Line Fence was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable. He quoted us and then was able to do the job about 2 weeks after. Everything came out fantastic and I am super pleased to have a nice fence in my new backyard. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone looking for someone to do their fence in the future."

"We had quite a bit of winter damage from a leaking roof and Jay repaired everything. There was nothing he could not do. During the five week job, he repaired or replaced drywall and insulation, roof tiles, removed damaged wallpaper, painted and even took care of mold! He was professional, trustworthy and very pleasant. in addition his prices were very reasonable. I trust him completely and would not hesitate to hire him again."

"One of the best options in the area. They are a professional team and got the job done quickly (1 day). My yard looks great with this new fence. They made sure every nook and cranny was secure so my kids and dog would always be safe. I recommend Fences Unlimited to all of my family and friends. The fence was installed in April '15 and still looks great. Contacted them this year to have a new section added and existing section moved. They are very understanding and prompt. Never an issue with communication."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Regular maintenance for wire fencing includes annual inspections for rust or damage, tension adjustments every two to three years, and immediate repair of any breaks or loose sections. You should also regularly check the fence posts for stability, particularly after severe weather, and make sure to remove any vegetation growing along the fence line.

A fence installer or homeowner should place a snow fence upwind of the desired drift area, while keeping the prevailing wind direction in mind. When installing a snow fence, its posts should be sturdy, as they will be the weakest areas in terms of tensile strength. Posts should be buried at one-third their height and placed no more than eight feet apart.

Knowing how close to the property line you can build a fence is an important planning step in your fence installation project. In many U.S. states, you are allowed to build a fence directly on the property line as long as your neighbor signs off on the plan. But check with your state government because some states and municipalities require a couple of inches before your property line.

Vegetable gardens can easily become a convenient food bank for your local animal population, whether it’s squirrels stealing fruit or rabbits munching on freshly grown veggies. If you want to keep those critters out, it helps to put a fence around your vegetable garden that’s at least a couple of feet tall to deter any animals from getting past it. Just make sure your fence doesn’t interrupt the amount of sunlight your garden needs to thrive.

When deciding between fence post foam and concrete, the best choice depends on your specific needs and priorities. Concrete is generally considered stronger and more durable, making it the preferred option for heavy, load-bearing posts. However, expanding foam offers several advantages, such as being more eco-friendly and curing much faster. For smaller fences or those made with lighter materials like vinyl or wire mesh, post foam is a good alternative. While concrete is more affordable, it is also harder to work with and has a longer curing time.
