"I can’t say enough great things about Best Sewer and Drain. The owner personally responded to my call and was at my home within two hours — truly impressive responsiveness! What started as a simple clog turned out to be a much bigger issue, but they worked tirelessly until everything was completely resolved. The owner was not only professional and highly skilled but also genuinely kind and helpful. He went above and beyond, even cleaning up the area far more thoroughly than expected. It’s rare to see that level of dedication and care these days. If you’re looking for honest, dependable, and top-quality service, I highly recommend Best Sewer and Drain. They absolutely live up to their name!"

"Recently, Mike and Brian replaced my old and leaky water heater & tank with a tankless system. The work was done with professionalism and promptness; they cleaned up the work areas thoroughly before they left. I would definitely call on them if I need similar-type work done in the future."

"Prompt, courteous, professional. I called on a Sunday for an emergency clog and Travis was here in about an hour, much earlier than the appointment time, which was great. Quickly unclogged the toilet. Helped with the bathroom clean up, too."

"I had a plumbing leak since February 2024 whereas the leak was coming from my bathroom shower leaking into my kitchen, when I immediately contacted my home warranty American Shield, they never provided me with a Plumbing contractor. From February 22, 2024 until March 24, 2024, I continued to have leakage. American Home Shield then told me they had no contractors to assist me with my plumbing issues and therefore wanted me to identify a Plumbing contractor and then submit the diagnosis to them for review and approval. I then identified Royal Class Service and they diagnosed the leakage as a Shower Valve Replacement whereas they would need to open drywall from the closet to gain access for repair. The estimate from Royal Class was over $2,000.00. American Home Sheild then sent PROSERVICE HVAC & PLUMBING for a second option located in Connecticut. They stated that Royal Class inflated the cost repair and this Pro-Service Company was supposed now take over the repairs. I waited three more weeks because when I called Pro-Service requesting a date for repair they continuously told me they are waiting for valve they ordered from Home Depot. They are the worse!!! I'm Disabled and was out of my shower usage for three months. Well on a Thursday of early May, I happen to see Neighborhood Plumbing truck and contacted Anthony (contractor). Anthony came to home so professional and concerned to assist me with the well overdue plumbing issue and Neighborhood Plumbing repaired this in less than two hours at a price that was extremely fair and far more less than Royal Class quoted and five star professional than American Home Sheild and Pro-Service located in Connecticut. Please don't get taken by these companies. Anthony could have attempted to inflate his prices and robbed me like Royal Class attempted or he could have never come back to repair just as Pro-Service did. But, Neighborhood Plumbing does not have professional integrity they get the job done at a cost that's not ROBBERY! I had a horrible experience with these former companies and I urge you to seek out Neighborhood Plumbing if you need Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Services. Thank you Neighborhood Plumbing,"

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Using less toilet paper is the easiest way to prevent future clogs. Also, avoid flushing sanitary products, thick paper towels, or hair down the toilet. If you’ve been using a brick in the tank to reduce the water used to flush the toilet, take it out immediately. Bricks will eventually fall apart and clog your toilet drain. Keeping your toilet lid closed also helps avoid future clogs.

Yes, you can pour water down the toilet to help it flush. For each flush, you’ll need 1 to 2 gallons of water for newer toilets or 3 to 5 gallons of water for older toilets. Rather than dumping the entire bucket in all at once, pour the water in slowly for the best results. If you’re pouring water down the toilet to help it flush after a clog, only use 1 gallon of hot water.

Simple blockages can be cleared using household plungers or manual snakes, provided no severe plumbing issues exist.

No. You should dispose of all oil-based finishing products through a local hazardous waste program. Not only can oil-based finishes be hazardous for the environment if disposed of in the sink, but they can cause clogs in your pipes and stop up your drains. Most municipal garbage or waste disposal companies have a specific location or pick-up schedule for hazardous materials, so that’s your best bet to get rid of excess finishing products.

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.
