Leonard explained the pros and cons of both, and I ended up getting the whole driveway resurfaced with the problem areas cut out, and repaired down to the dirt and rocks filled. They "shimmed" the areas that weren't level, then completely resurfaced my entire 7200 sqft driveway. The entire job was done in 2 days, and the project was scheduled 2 weeks from when I called to make the appointment. The driveway looks great, and is probably good for another 20 years.
