I own several properties and Brian's guys have done almost every type of landscaping job for me over the years including general maintenance, new lawn seeding, spring and fall clean ups, bush trimming, pruning, tree removal, brush clearing, rock sculpturing, building retaining walls, and installing Belgium block. My most recent major project involved clearing over two acres of land of high brush, wild plants and trees, which required the use of a wood chipper for a month. I feel like I have a new property. It looks great, it is now useable for my kids and grandchildren to play and the value has increased tremendously. Brian is easy to talk to and he always manages to stay within my budget. His workers are professional and always eager to please and they don't mind redoing things when I have a design change. Really, I have not once been disappointed with their work and as my wife would say I am not easy to please. The one thing I should leave with is that it is important to book early since Brian gets real busy in the Spring and scheduling may get difficult for a big job if you are not booked. Or, you can do what I often do and have him work in the winter if the project allows it. It could also save you money as well. --

Went really well. Brian really knows his plants and how to make the yard look nice. He took a yard that was a bit run down when we just moved in and help shape it into the envy of the neighborhood. Can’t go wrong with them. The workers are one of the hardest working crew I’ve seen, are polite and always leave everything in tip-top shape.

House Cleaning
The original appointment was in June 17 they called me the day before and cancelled it rescheduled on the 29th and cancelled again the day before that. They said they would call me to reschedule but they never did. Very unreliable awful and disappointing.

I have hired Landscape Impressions (3 Howard Ct, Goshen, NY 10924, tel: 845- 351-3454) to change my front of the house entry and little garden with new masonry and new garden. Mr. Brian Mitchell, the owner and his crew (Leo, Jose, Ricardo, Rudy) are highly trained professionals and great people to do business with. Attention to all details, to all my feisty tastes, changes, ideas. Answers to all my questions, great verbal, e-mail and texting communications with all required pictures. Very good pricing, accurate, no surprises. They sent all electric, gas, water/sewer companies to mark the entire area in preparation for work. They removed old pond, waterfall, replaced water piping with new one, hidden under concrete. All cleaning after each day of work. They have all the machines and tools needed for masonry, granite, trees, flowers, grass, etc. I had a wonderful experience and can't wait to continue working with this crew for the back of my house, driveway, etc. Didn't stop to what was written in contract, added little details with pleasure, no overcharge. I highly commend and recommend to everybody. Thank you so much, we're so happy with the new look.

We are very happy with the landscaping that was done in the front of our home. It was in poor shape for a long time, so everything needed to be ripped out and replaced. We love the dark mulch that Brian suggested and all of the plants and flowers he picked out for us (I know nothing about flowers so I asked him to give us his recommendations). He was very patient with me through the whole process and didn't mind at all that I asked for input on what should be planted. I would absolutely hire Landscape Impressions again as well as recommend them to my friends.

It was a large job that went well, but with any big project problems always arise. For instance, Brian plotted out the exact placement for the pool, but when it was all measured, it was off by a couple of inches. Brian advised it should be done correctly even though I said to just leave it. Thankfully Brian insisted, because those 2 inches would have affected the grade and drainage would have been an issue. Also, when in the swimming pool, he wanted us to be able to see through the house to the front door. He didn't leave any details up to chance. He worked so closely with us in doing the design he made us feel like we designed it ourselves! The patio, with its curves and lush landscaping just complement the pool and poolhouse area beautifully. Our yard is referred to as a resort! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with the results. Our property even won a design award! I moved a month ago. As much as I like my new house I miss my backyard. I already called Landscape Impressions and told them to start thinking of some ideas for my new yard. I need a new oasis!

I've dealt with many landscapers in the past. The difference with Landscape Impressions was, Brian went out of his way to work with me (& my wife) to ensure we were comfortable with a budget and what could be done with it. Others would do a poor quality job for the same amount of money, or try to sell me something 5-10 times my budget. It was a bit tough to schedule them initially -- took about a year to coordinate -- but it was well worth the wait. We did not know what to do with the property, we just wanted to improve it. Brian was happy to provide several options and ideas, and I could tell from our initial conversations that he has experience, creativity, and knows what to plant in our area (shady, lots of deer, etc.). We now have a beautiful "spec garden" that takes advantage of the steep sloped, rocky & tree-trunk laden terrain. Although the budget I set was not enough to completely cover my property, Brian made sure I got the most value out of it, and his super-friendly crew did an excellent job of cleaning everything else up. He set us up for future work for when we are able to spend more on the property. Many compliments from the neighbors!

It was fantastic. Brian Mitchell, the owner of Landscape Impressions, was very clear in what was needed to be done with regards to our irrigation, landscaping and treatment of our trees and plants that we had. He was always wonderful as well with installing lights for our walkway. His assistant Eugenia is also very helpful if I can't reach him. I leave her a message and he gets back to me promptly.
