"Mike is a diligent worker and did what was required in the contract. We signed up with him early in the summer, but he did not get to our job until October. Once started he completed the job which required demolition of an old deck, reinforcing of the base with some additional posts and building a composite deck on top of an existing structure. He is not strong on finishing detail, but the basic structure is excellent."

"Dream Work Designs renovated my 30' x 16' deck. I had them rip everything out except the structure and replace it. As it turns out, they even ended up doing some structural work for me--sistering floor joists, squaring an end joist, and improving on the original stairs. These were not things I originally requested or was aware of, so it was refreshing that they were transparent about the structural deficiencies. While it took much longer than originally quoted (granted--they were dodging snowstorms), the end result was very good and Brian and Karen did a great job of staying in touch throughout the process. I would highly recommend Dream Work Designs for your next deck project. They're a great small company that deserves your business."

"So - So! The overall project was just okay but not fantastic. We went with DeRisio even though he was more expensive because he seemed to know what he was talking about. At the end of the project, the brick work on the front of the building still has mortar stains although they claim they acid washed it several times. They replaced a brick door sill with a something they bent out of aluminum trim material. After repeated requests to fix it, they offered to put in a slate sill. I said that would be okay. Well, over one year later, it still isn't done. They replaced an exterior door that hasn't latched properly from the day it was installed. Great guys - but lousy workmanship. I wouldn't have them back."
