Small jobs welcome

"We had a bush that was FIRMLY in place that needed to be removed. Roots were too deep and extensive for my husband/I to tackle. Ryan came in and worked diligently until he was able to free up the bush and remove it entirely. He also cleaned up the area so it did not even look like any work has been done! I also needed debris removed from under a porch so that our kitchen pipes on exterior wall could be accessed and insulated. It was NOT an easy job but Ryan handled it very professionally and before we knew it he was done. His prices are reasonable and he has always completed our jobs very quickly from the time of our call to the end of the job."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use household cleaners on silicone caulk, but opt for mild, non-abrasive cleaners. Solutions like vinegar and water are effective for tackling mold and dirt. Avoid cleaners containing ammonia or harsh chemicals because they can damage the caulk. Always test a small area first to ensure the cleaner doesn’t cause any adverse effects.

Cleaning services typically offer a range of options. Some of the most common cleaning tasks include:

  • Windows: $4–$10 per window

  • Refrigerator cleaning: $10–$40

  • Carpet cleaning: $75–$200

  • Baseboard cleaning: $25–$75

  • Laundry: $5–$20 per load

  • Cabinets: $20–$50

  • Polishing or waxing floors: $25–$50

  • Dusting: $10–$30

  • Oven cleaning: $20–$40

Cleaning floors is a relatively easy DIY job, but paying for a professional cleaning service is worthwhile if you don’t have the time to dedicate to cleaning or if you have particularly dirty floors, deep-set stains, or wooden floors that you might damage during the cleaning process. A professional house cleaner will have the tools and experience necessary to remove dirt, pet hair, debris, and even stains and discoloration from your floors without damaging them. The service is also relatively affordable, making it a great investment if you don’t have the time or tools to do it yourself.

Regular cleaning, sealing, and inspections help identify problems early and maintain aesthetics.

The answer to whether it’s safe to use a moldy dishwasher is: It depends. Mold exposure affects people differently. It’s possible that even a small amount of mold in your dishwasher could contribute to respiratory issues and other health problems, especially if you have an underlying health condition. Mold is capable of surviving the high heat and detergent used in a dishwasher cycle, so it’s important to ensure that you act quickly at the first sign of mold, or contact a house cleaner near you to stay on top of any potential mold problems.
