By midday Monday the job was finished and we've had no problems since. After negative experiences with other pest companies trying to sell us all kinds of things we didn't need and providing subpar service, Jack was the opposite. I first contacted this company for a second estimate (the first was a lot more, by about $100.00) on a Monday and I had an appointment scheduled for that Wednesday, two days later, between noon and 2 PM. The technician, Josh, called when he was about 15 minutes away, showing up around 1:30. He got right to work in removing it, and once the hornets had died, he broke it apart to show me the inside. (Even though it was a nest of stinging insects, I must admit that the intricate structure within was amazing. He took the time to explain how the hornets and hive fuctioned, which was really interesting - - he missed his true calling, in that he should have been an entomologist.) If I ever have the need for hive removal again, I would call Absolute Pest Control without a second thought, and have absolutely no reservations about recommending this company to friends!!!!! Overall, with the senior discount, I felt the price was very fair; I had checked on-line to get an idea of the average cost of nest removal, and this company’s pricing was well within reason. Plus, the nest had to be reached by ladder...."
