Empty promises. Please use another company. Once my pest was identified via microscope(springtails), they continued to take my money while treating for 3 months and when not resolved, I was told that specific species was not covered under my contract and would be an additional charge. The manager Joe told me "I am not sending someone out every 3 weeks for something that is not ever going to go away". PLEASE GO WITH A COMPANY THAT VALUES THIER CUSTOMERS.

Termite control, After two years I still have termites and they wanted more money

"We have discussed this issue with Mr. [Member Name Removed]. Our termite contracts are a yearly based service, that requires a yearly renewal to maintain the termite stations. Termites prefer certain soils over other soils, which means you can have multiple colonies, just because a colony is eradicated does not mean that new ones can't start up. Termite servicing is an on going service. We stand behind our services and offer free trouble calls, however the service must be continued each year. This is something that is discussed at the start of every termite service. Termite bait stations require maintenance, and that is why there is a yearly charge. Termite service is like an insurance policy, it has to be renewed each year. We certainly want to help the customer in any way we can, but we do have to be paid for our services."

These guys are great! The technician was right on time, very thorough, found the nest, explained everything to me, and handled the problem. I really appreciated his explanations, since I am a new homeowner and had no experience with bees. I thought the price was very reasonable.

Original serviceman was too large to fit in attic even though salesman had come out to scope and quote the work. Service we recieved comprised of throwing two bait packs in the attic and then leaving, but not before handing us a $375 bill. Follow up service only focused on mice even though the primary issue was for the squirels. Tried to resolve the dispute with management but was during the discourse was presented with laughter as to why we thought we were entitled for any refund even though full service wasn't delivered...astonishingly poor customer service from start to finish!

Russell called 1/2 hr. before he got to my home to let me know when he would be there. He was very professional and courteous.  He explained what he was doing with Gator the enitre time they were checking my home & car.  He was very good with the dog gently asking him to find the bugs.  Gator thankfully did not find any.  I was very happy to pay for restoring my piece of mind. He did not try to scare me as I had read some companies do.

I originally had a problem with carpenter ants in December 2013. One of their service representatives came out and sprayed several areas in the interior of my home. A few months later in February 2014, the ants reappeared in a variety of locations. Once again, they sent a technician who sprayed the interior of my home. I told the technician where I was seeing them and asked him if he could spray in additional locations instead of the same ones as last time. He obliged. A service represented returned in May to spray the exterior of the home to prevent the ants from entering. This month, July 2014, the ants have once again reappeared. I called Northeast Pest Control again but was told by the representative on the phone that I would have to pay the charge again for them to come and spray the interior for the ants. I was confused by this and inquired why I had to pay again since they claim on their web site that they guarantee a home will be carpenter ant free. I was told by the representative that the warranty they provide is only good for 30 days from the date the work is performed and that they could not rid my home of the ants completely, that they could just try and control them. The representative informed me the spray they use is only good for generally three to six months which is why they had returned. I was under the impression that this company would eliminate the ants but was told by the representative that they are not an exterminator. Their web site claims that they specialize in eliminating carpenter ants and guarantee your home will be carpenter ant free but apparently that is not the case.

They used a system called Centocon which is what they use at the White house and we've had absolutely no problem since then. They re-exterminated the previous pest control company's work. They did the exterminating from outside instead of the inside for $1200.

I called these guys on a Thursday afternoon after seeing a few carpenter ants in our house, and they scheduled me for Monday afternoon between 2-5. The guy showed up around 3, did a walkthrough of the house and told me we do not have an infestation but that he can spray the outside perimeter to make sure no more come in. I declined the outdoor spray (he said when you have a problem you know, the ants leave a pheromone trail and they aren't sneaky) but if we have issues in the future I will absolutely call them again. The guy who showed up was super friendly, quick and knowledgeable. He also examined a little hole in our foundation that we think squirrels are crawling into, and while he couldn't take care of it himself he did explain that they have a construction team who can come back. Since he didn't spray or put down traps, they didn't charge us for the visit which was a really awesome surprise. The woman I scheduled with on the phone was also really nice and helpful (especially considering I called several times with questions which she patiently answered). I really like these guys and won't hesitate to call them again.

There was an upfront cost and then there was a monthly cost. I signed up for a one year contract. It was around $300 for the upfront and then about $40 a month. They beat everybody else on price. I did compare them with a bunch of other companies on Angie's List and they came in the lowest. Honestly, the guy who came out was friendly, fine, on time and all the things that you look for. Really, the reason I picked them was because of price and because they've got so many good reviews on Angie's List. I haven't had a ton of exposure with them yet. They came out first time to do the initial visit and that's really it. The rep came out first and he was nice and then the tech came out to do the visit and he was fine as well.

They showed when scheduled. 
Old flooring was removed promptly ,but took longer than expected.   They did not return for about a week to begin putting down new floor.  Base of plywood was installed, but took longer than expected.  The new flooring had not been ordered promptly, then was out of stock, so another
week or so goes by.  New flooring finally came in and was installed.
As much as I like Jay and Mike,  this job was poorly coordinated  and took way too long.

A service person arrived and had no intention of going into the attic.  Looking at the scuttle hole providing access to the attic he stated he would not go into the attic fearing he would come through the ceiling.  He wanted to spray the nest from the outside and leave it and he stated it would be the same contract price as full removal of the nest.  Since the nest was approximately 2 ft from the outside wall and under the insulation it didn't seem logical that this would be effective.  When we objected he called his office and they reduced the price from 395.00 to 295.00. For that much money we could spray it from the outside.  We asked him to leave.

Had Northeast out on a Monday to a house we're in the process of buying to provide an estimate on carpenter ant and mold removal. The tech was on time, friendly, and knowledgeable. The quote seemed fair.
We called Tuesday to get an updated estimate for the ants. The quote given was only for removal, but we also wanted to know about how much it would cost to fix the damage. We were told we'd get a callback by end of business... we didn't. When we called at 5pm, we were told the tech had left for the day.
Got a call early Wednesday morning. We told him (again) what we wanted -- a revised estimate -- and he said he'd email it to us by Thursday. Nothing.
He called Friday afternoon to tell us that "the girls" will email us a revised estimate by Monday. I don't know who these "girls" are, but it's Tuesday now and I haven't heard from them.
Even if we do ever hear back, I will not hire Northeast to do this work or any work in the future.

It went pretty well. We called and they were there immediately. They showed up in a few hours. They had a reasonable price. I just explained the situation and they arranged for a time to meet. I called my son, so he met them there. An hour later it was all settled up. They were gone by dinner time. The guy was very polite. He explained everything he was doing.
