"We hired Well's to pave a parking area and long driveway. They showed up when promised and did high quality work. Before the job, we decided we wanted a couple additions to the initial proposal and the extra charge they suggested was more than fair. We were especially pleased when the prep work ripped up a wire just inches below the surface that I had forgotten about. Someone came and got me and together we traced out what the wire was for (a lead to a sub surface array of ground rods). The crew switched to preping another area while one of the guys helped me install a replacement wire. They could have just shrugged off finding a single buried wire but they did not."

"I had an 18 year old asphalt driveway that needed resurfacing. I started by getting estimates from several paving companies in my area. Most of them wanted to charge $3 per square foot for the resurfacing. According to research that I had done on the Internet, it should not be more than $2 per square foot. I finally decided to use the company that had installed the original driveway. His estimate was $2 per square foot. All of the companies had similar descriptions of exactly how they would do the resurfacing, so I was not concerned about the lower price. Plus they had done an excellent job of installing the original driveway and it had lasted 18 years without any problems. "Anton and his crew are the greatest! We truly enjoyed working with them, Anton is extremely responsive, extremely dedicated, and most importantly, a true artist/artisan. We asked him to use only reclaimed wood and the most environmentally sustainable materials. He researched the best environmentally sound ways to insulate our house (using stone wool and alternatives to Tyvek, which we did not want to use because it's from DuPont) and he made numerous trips farther upstate from our Mid-Hudson house to locate the perfect reclaimed wood at old barns that were being torn down and resold as reclaimed wood. He gut renovated our really skanky old house into a magnificent jewel of post and beam construction to the point that peoples' jaws drop when they walk in."
