"Abe Nick provided extra services of replacing the ceiling tiles that had leak stains and sealing the windows that leaked. Had photos of old roof vs new roof where I can compare the quality of their work services . I like the way they presented during estimation showing the materials actual wood they are installing. "for : a patch, some sealing around vents and finally for a completely new roof this winter when multiple leaks and standing snow convinced me I had to have a roof replacement. For a big ticket item, it was a relatively painless process. Contacting them was easy and and polite (Jennifer!). Evaluating the work needed was a transparent process and explained clearly (Matt). You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

A properly installed, high-quality tarp can be left on a roof for up to 90 days. However, this is only a temporary measure and not a substitute for proper roof repair or replacement. Thinner tarps or those exposed to heavy wind and rain may not last the full 90 days, so it's important to monitor the tarp's condition to ensure it continues to protect your roof from the elements.
