Signed a contract to replace half the roof for $5000 after assurance of no hidden cost and nominal cost for replacing some plywood. Due to rough weather the job was performed 3 weeks after signing. The roofer did not cover the roof with tarp and also spoke to Allstate who denied all my claims for damages. I was billed $1600 in addition to $5000. I have paid the $5000 but I deem the extra billing excessive. I was not informed of the cost for approval. I am willing to come to terms with the contractor and would like Angie’s list to review and work out a compromise. It also points to the level of service offered by the two contractors referred by your company. One bid for $2500 and precision roofing came in at $5000. I signed with Precision because of their assurances as an established company with a fixed cost. It has turned out not to be the case.

Overall the experience was much better than expected. The initial call was quickly returned. A professional quote was received via email along with a Certificate Of Insurance. The job was completed with no visible signs they were here... except it rained very heavily that night and the roof did not leak. LOL! I received an Invoice via email the next day and promptly paid via snail mail this morning.

It went well. They did a great job. We had a leak on the roof between the sky light and they did an excellent job at sealing it. They came back and resealed it so they sealed it twice. They did a great job and we have not had any leaks. I would use them in the future.

I called to set an appointment for an estimate. The person who answered connected me to a second person who told me a third person would have to call me back. She asked for my name, telephone number and full address - all this for a call back (and before I knew whether the company does the work I was seeking). I stopped at name and telephone because it seemed too hard to do business with them, and there is a limit to how much information I will give without any reciprocity.

Not good. They ruined my skylights when they were stripping the roof...they said it was their fault but they wouldn't fix or replace...the ownership is beyond irresponsible...

new roof installed. Cricket installed. Source of leak - not repaired, in fact, had a leak in the same place the following year! Work was found to be lacking in one area of the roof - something had been installed upside down, lending to water seepage. They were not very responsive when told there was a leak in the same area the following year.

Everyone I dealt with from the moment of first contact was great. They were professional, knowledgeable and honest. I would highly recommend Precision Roofing.

The crew was on time every day and were very efficient.  Some portions of the plywood roofing had to be replaced after the old roofing was removed and this was also done very efficiently. They were here for two days and cleaned up after each work day. We are  pleased with the final results and would recommend Precision Roofing.

Inspector came and did a thorough exam of the roof ,chimney flashing, gutters, etc. He was very professional and gave good advice on maintenance and upkeep of roof. Will use this company for future needs.

Precision was on time, efficient and went above and beyond the scope of work contracted.  Cleand up and entire crew was professional.

He never got on the roof and just gave me an estimate to replace the shingles. I felt this provider was scamming me, they sent a sells person out and not a repair man. He simply looked at the roof from the ground and gave an estimate for over $500 to replace three shingles, but didn't actually do any work or go onto the roof at all.

Used this company years ago and they came now as a result of an Angies List $49 deal for a roof assessment with pictures and minor repairs.  The review was comprehensive but I'm thinking it was what they would do for any prospective customer who requests an estimate.  Not sure there was a benefit to purchasing the Angies List deal.  I also think that the representative was overselling with a recommendation for a roof rebuild and some other services that a mason and other roofing contractors said I did not need.  The estimate they provided was just for the roof replacement.  All that said, I still think it is a good company and will probably end up choosing them.  They did systematic follow-ups to see if I had any questions, etc. until I told them I'd contact them when I was ready.

My very large roof was damaged by Sandy and then a subsequent storm in early
2013.  We lost many shingles and replacement and patching was just not
practical. I contacted Precision based on a neighbor's recommendation and I
included Precision in my gathering of estimates.  I am so glad that I
chose them.  Nick and Tom were real professionals.  A detailed
explanation was received after a full and thorough examination was
preformed.  They handled and negotiated on my behalf with the insurance
company which resulted in a higher than expected claim resolution.  The
work was performed as scheduled.  Thier crew was neat, courteous and
fast.  The total job was completed in about 4 days. (6600 sq. ft.) 
The result was amazing.  The roof is beautiful and the workmanship and follow-up
was impeccable.  I highly recommend Precision for their craftsmanship,
attention to detail and trustworthiness.

Making the appointment and then executing it was easy. Tom arrived on time and was prepared to look at the roof and tell me what his company could do for me.  He spent a very adequate time with me walking around the home and discussing issues I've had with the roof.  He then went up on the roof to inspect it.  Materials were left with me and the formal estimate was emailed to me promptly.  Robin the office manager was very professional on the phone and in email.
I offered to let Tom into the attic but he chose not to go there.  I thought that was curious that a roofer didn't want to inspect the attic. Although I told him I was having three areas of leaking on the roof no mention of a repair was ever made to me, just a roof replacement.  Since I'm not a professional roofer I really don't know if I need a new roof or not.  Some companies offered a repair option instead of replacing the roof.  They felt I had another five or more years of use out of the existing roof once the repair was done. 
The estimate came and I had some questions which I emailed.  I received a reply which answered almost all of my questions.  The answers were very through. 
Of the estimates I received this was the most expensive one by a considerable amount.  I did not try to haggle about pricing.  The estimate seemed to be in-line with very similar work and materials other roofers gave me so the price differential wasn't readily apparent.  Each of the other estimates came from Angie's List companies with many "A" ratings. 
I didn't rate quality as I did not have any work done.  However the estimate process and follow up was a solid A except for the price.

Precision Roofing were fine. They did the job and the roof has been fine, it's been raining a lot and it's been okay. I have no complaints as far as that is concerned. My main thing was having the roof repaired and they did it. I may use them again.

They did a really good job. We recently developed a leak and they came out, but never gave us a quote that they were going to send us. There was a communication problem. Then they came out, which was nice because it was the day of the storm, they did say that it would be fine in the storm and they would send us an estimate for the work that we should have done. We never got an estimate. The first time the quality was good.
