"RUN FAR AWAY FROM ALLIED AND TOM. Tom took my money and did not complete the renovations as per our contract. He lied about having a licensed electrician to do electrical work, it was just one of his workers who's not licensed. I paid for a dumpster and when it was delivered by tom it was already half full from another allied job and I was asked to pay the full amount of $950. Tom didn't listen to anything I said regarding the work I requested and he changed my design and did work that was cheaper for him. I was priced for one of my ceiling's to be ripped out and reinstalled with new sheetrock, Tom waited until I was away on business then he installed sheetrock on top of the bad sheetrock and told me he ripped out the old sheetrock and installed the new sheetrock, I found out when my EC cut holes to install lights and we found 2 layers of sheetrock preventing the lights from being able to be installed. Allied construction is a cheap, sneaky company who will steal your money and breach your contract. Do not hire these people Tom is a lair. Tom wore a gun in my house on his hip and told me "I use this to get paid by customer who don't want to pay". Tom left live 120v wires hanging out of the walls and ceiling, he removed a banister and didn't replace it for 3 weeks making my home very unsafe for me and my 9 year old son."

"I hired Oz General Contracting Co Inc in 2013 to remodel my kitchen. The company also remodeled my half bath in 2021 and in 2025 remodeled our main bathroom and linen closet. Every project turned out great! Everyone involved with my projects was courteous, talented, and professional. Ozi Ovadia is a master at maximizing space. I highly recommend this company."

"Gene and his crew did a great job on a difficult project. The house is over 100 years old and had been renovated several times in the past. Gene’s strength is to work collaboratively with his client to ensure the project meets the customer’s expectation. This project changed a couple of times based on what we found during demolition. Gene provided options and was always upfront about the cost of each option. We set out a schedule and the crew showed up on time for the day and on schedule for the week. I am very happy with the work."

They helped me design a kitchen that was more functional than what I had before, the materials were very high quality and the job was done on time with minimal disruption to my daily routine. And my new kitchen is gorgeous - easily the best thing I did that year. This year I used NYKB to replace my HVAC units and once again, Perry and team came through in a pinch. They were able to complete the job from start to finish in about a week, and the technician Alan was very thorough and meticulous, and of course professional. The team stands behind their work and will make any fixes that may arise even after installation. You can depend on NYKB as Perry and team are the ultimate professionals and will not let you down. I recommended them very highly and will continue to work with them on any other home projects I have going forward."

"Tanem has a long history of good work. Gene did several projects for me years ago and I was glad to find Paul picked up the same qualities Gene had established. Both are easy to work with, knowledgeable, make lots of helpful suggestions so the project comes out even better than I had thought it would. You tell Paul what you want done, and he, and Gene in an advisory role, find a way to make it even better. They are flexible and just know how to find solutions. Their crews know what they’re doing. "I can't express enough how pleased I was with CNM Construction. They did my bathroom 5 years ago and when I decided to remodel my kitchen, I knew they were the ones to call. They are professional and thoughtful and the work is top notch. They gave good suggestions and noticed things I didn't. They were extremely accommodating and though it may seem like a small thing, they protected the furniture when they worked and cleaned up meticulously at the end of every day.
