Fantastic! First, let me say that single women, like myself, frequently get ripped off by service providers. Not with Steve! (owner of 1st Class Home Improvement). His work was meticulous and I trusted him completely when I was in the house and when I had stepped out. His price was more than fair. I have seen work he's done at a friend's house and have been impressed with the attention to detail he puts into everything he does. I don't know if it's accurate to refer to him as handyman, as he does everything; tile, putting in room additions, building decks, etc. I will definitely be hiring Steve again--I'm not even going to get other estimates. I would have hired him already to put in cabinets and tile in my bathroom if I had selected the tile yet. I really can't speak highly enough about Steve and his work. Don't be fooled by the 401 area code; he lives here in Newtown. Understandably, he has a large customer list already.
