"This was absolutely my best experience I have ever had with any company I have ever done business with. No need to look any further, this is definitely the company you will want to do your basement waterproofing . The work that is done and the professionalism of every member of this family run business will exceed your highest expectations. I am an avid researcher when it comes to finding the best company to do a job that I need done. I had an ongoing issue for years with water leaking into my basement. I had 6 top rated waterproofing companies(very well known on long island and beyond) come to my house and present me with why my basement was leaking and how the best way was to fix it. Each company had something different to say and all different ways to fix it. Then came the Napalitano Brothers(Sons James and Mike). These upstanding gentlemen separated themselves from all the other companies I had dealt with. They were polite, sincere, honest, genuine, well mannered, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and patient. They presented themselves with pride in the work that they would be doing and ensured me that they would be able to provide me with a job that would satisfy me beyond measure. I cannot say enough about James and Mike( they both were hands on in doing the actual work for the entire job) they were true to their word and after meeting the patriarch of the family business, I can see why and where these young men get their loyal, honest and genuine qualities. If every business followed the business model and approach of how the Napalitano Brothers run a company, it would make it easy to pick a company to do a job. Good thing I am steadfast when it comes to doing research on a company and I take my time to choose what company I will let do a job I need done. I could not have made a better choice because there is no better choice out their when it comes to getting your basement waterproofed. Everyone says they are the best, but with the Napalitano Brothers you are actually getting the best. After you check out the other companies, let the Napalitano Brothers be the last one before you make your final decision and I will guarantee, you will do as I did and have them do the job. They will exceed your every expectation and put you at complete ease from start to finish, and even after with their follow up with you once the job is complete. Make the SMART choice which is the absolutely the BEST choice and have the Napalitano Brothers take care of your basement waterproofing. They will be my only choice and recommendation to anyone that I know that will need the services that they provide. Since the completion of the job, back in February 2017, we have had a good amount of rain with a few storms that brought tremendous rainfall and I can say with great happiness and satisfaction that my basement has not leaked even one drop. I am very grateful and thankful for meeting the entire family and workers and for having them do a"

"Rob and Christine were amazing again - going above and beyond as usual. Rob had to replace the pipe going from the house to our cesspool, and he told me that he would hand dig everything to be careful not to disturb the grass and plant life. While he was replacing the pipe, he discovered that the sprinkler line was precariously placed closed to the cover of the pool, so he changed the cover to ensure that there were no issues going forward. When he completed the job, there was no evidence of him digging up the lawn or plants - he meticulously put everything back exactly as he found it - demonstrating pride and care that you don't always see. He honored the original price he had quoted - even though he did more than expected."

"Guy and his team, including foreman Al Hayes, were extremely good, the best contractor we have ever worked with. They came immediately, did an excellent job in a very complex cleaning job of a sewer backup in a basement filled with stuff. They did so efficiently, with complete consideration for us and for helping us sort what to keep and not. They removed truckloads of stuff. They left us with a remarkably clean basement with no residue from the back-up and fully sanitized. Their whole crew was courteous, pleasant, respectful and very careful of all our things. Guy was always part of the process and always immediately responsive to calls and questions. He went above and beyond, taking time to advise us on a variety of house issues, which was very helpful. They later came back and cleaned the attic, which had been filled with black dust from a roof installation, again as well as before. Al also repaired some tile work for us in his spare time at a very reasonable price. I believe the pricing for all of this was quite reasonable for the very fine work performed. I cannot recommend them more highly."

"I called Water Works to get a second opinion on a problem Roto-Rooter told me I had in my sewer drain. Water Works came out with a camera they inserted through the sewer pipe and told me I had no issue. Roto-Rooter told me I had roots and a split pipe. This company told me there was some swelling in the pipe which is common in old cast iron, but there was nothing that had to be fixed. They charged me NOTHING. I was appalled at Roto-Rooter and will send a scathing review about there service and trying to take advantage of a senior citizen, but I have nothing bu RAVE reviews for Water Works Plubming. Thank you John, for coming out and checking my Mom's sewer pipe. You were honest, thorough and understanding. I would DEFINITELY recommend you guys going forward."

The regulations around whether drain pipe installers need to hold licenses or certifications differ based on where you live and the type of drain pipe installed. Municipalities have varying rules and regulations about who can and can’t perform plumbing work. However, we recommend hiring a certified plumber to install or modify your drain lines. Licensed plumbers will perform a high-quality, professional installation, which translates to a lower risk of clogs and leaks in the future. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to confirm the license status of your potential plumber before hiring them to install your drain pipe.
The cost to install a drain pipe is $600 on average, but the total can range between $150 and $2,000. Some cost factors that influence your project price include the type of drain, the area’s accessibility, the proximity of existing drain lines, and whether you’re installing a new drain or replacing an old one. Replacing the p-trap or s-trap under a single fixture will usually cost around $150, while replacing a main drain pipe can cost well over $2,000.
Plumbers will typically take one to two hours to install a new drain pipe, but that timeline can vary based on the area’s accessibility, the drain length, and the type of drain line. Replacing an easily accessible p-trap under a sink could take as little as a half an hour, while replacing a larger section of drain line behind the wall could take as long as three to four hours. When hiring a plumber for your specific installation, ask them to provide an estimated timeline to get a more accurate assessment.
You might need a permit to modify or repair any portion of your plumbing system, including drainage lines, depending on where you live. In some areas, simple replacements of existing drain lines don’t require a permit. We recommend asking your drain pipe installer or your local building department about permitting requirements. In many cases, only certified plumbers can pull plumbing permits, so you’ll usually need to leave the permit application to your professional. The fee for the permit will be passed to you on your project bill, though.
We highly recommend leaving the work of replacing drain pipes to a professional plumber. Drain pipes are a key part of your plumbing system, and making mistakes during the installation or even using the wrong size pipes for your specific fixture can lead to an elevated risk of leaks and clogs. Additionally, drain pipes prevent harmful sewer gas from entering your home, so hiring a professional plumber is essential to keeping the risk of leaks and clogs low and avoid reducing your indoor air quality.
