Before we contacted Tom, we were in a terrible mess where a previous contractor had installed uneven tile with messy grout...not only did the other contractor's work look horrible, but the tile was sticking up so high in some places that it was a tripping hazard. Needless to say, we fired the other contractor! After we found Tom, he met with us quickly and helped us with a game plan for the best way to correct the situation (which in this case was to remove the existing tile and apply a self-leveling concrete before starting with the new tile). He was transparent and honest about the process right from the start all the way through the project's completion. And we are more than happy with the quality of his workmanship and the look of the finished installation. Also important, both Tom and his assisting crew member were clean, professional, and hard-working. Unfortunately, the sheetrock under the tiles had gotten wet & deteriorated so that he couldn't complete the job without having to completely rebuild the structure. Gave me an excellent quote for tearout and replacement (tiles extra). Would have gone with him but my landlord brought in her tile man and gave him the job.
