Tom was professional, on-time, respectful of my home and pets. He had a challenging job, we asked him to come in to fix a disastrous tile job done by another "contractor" and he did phenomenal work. We plan on doing a big addition next year, any and all tile work will be done by Custom Tile Solutions, LLC.

Another beautiful job! After the shower Tom did for us a couple of months before, we had him come back to do the floor in the same bathroom with the travertine tiles we had bought and it all worked out perfectly! Tom at Custom Tile Solutions did a stellar job on the floor tile for my mother-in-law's walkout basement. Before we contacted Tom, we were in a terrible mess where a previous contractor had installed uneven tile with messy grout...not only did the other contractor's work look horrible, but the tile was sticking up so high in some places that it was a tripping hazard. Needless to say, we fired the other contractor! After we found Tom, he met with us quickly and helped us with a game plan for the best way to correct the situation (which in this case was to remove the existing tile and apply a self-leveling concrete before starting with the new tile). He was transparent and honest about the process right from the start all the way through the project's completion. And we are more than happy with the quality of his workmanship and the look of the finished installation. Also important, both Tom and his assisting crew member were clean, professional, and hard-working. If there's anything we've learned from the experience, it is that it is more than worth it to use a specialized professional for tile installation...and Tom is the cream of the crop!

From the beginning Tom was very responsive to my request for a quote. He understood what we wanted and gave us a fair quote. He is very punctual and professional, and everything went very smoothly as originally planned. We had very specific requests for the shower design and tile work with some of the details worked out during the job. He was able to improve upon some of the ideas we had in ways we would not have thought of. He is very focused and is very good at what he does which made the whole project a success.

Tom did an outstanding job with the tilework. He even managed to create a smooth transition to the carpet in the family room. He was prompt, and professional leaving a clean work space everyday. I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend him for your next tile project!!

Everything from our initial meeting with Tom right through to the finished floor and backsplashes went perfectly. We had several questions before the installation began , and we got all of them answered fully and in a timely manner. It was our first experience with tile installation , and Tom was able to take our general ideas and make some necessary changes that allowed us to end up with a result that exceeded our expectations. Tom was at our house each day at exactly the time he told us he would be there. His work was very neat and clean , which really helped us out as our kitchen is right in the middle of our home. We expected a bigger mess and inconvenience and we were amazed that Tom could do that much tile work with so little mess. We also had a couple of ideas for mosaics , etc, in both the floor and backsplashes , and Tom was able to steer us in the right direction based on the type of materials we had and some unique structural issues in our floor that had to be dealt with in a different way. We would highly recommend Tom and Custom Tile Solutions to anyone interested in geting tile work done the right way.
