Get matched with top floor sanding pros in Cedarhurst, NY

"I knew that I needed and wanted the floor (living room / dining room combo) to be refinished, but exactly what I wanted to do was the question. Rey came in and broke down the steps that were going to happen so that I understood the process and was clear on how long it was going to take. I was very concerned with the sanding process but there was hardly any dust. I was shocked! I was undecided with the color (I knew I wanted natural but was unsure with so many tints available) Rey sanded the floor being careful to remove the baseboards and the moldings so they wouldn't be damaged. He did a coat of amber which just slightly tinted the floor without leaving it pale natural or too yellow. He then gave me the option of putting an additional coat but I loved it so much we left it. He added the top layers (sealants) and carefully put back all the molding. I can very confidently recommend Defender Flooring. I wish I could leave pictures on this review - I took a ton to show others. Check their Instagram."

"They were able to turnaround the work quickly from initial discussion, which took place on a Friday. Confirmation of work on Monday and actual project work on Tuesday. They fully completed repair and refinishing of 1 room in 1 day and the floor has never looked better. They replaced multiple broken boards, sanded the entire floor, restained the entire floor and cleaned up behind themselves. This was a great, quick, high quality project at a reasonable price."

"Adam and his crew did a fantastic job of refinishing our living room and dining room floors. Adam went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with his work. He takes pride in his work and truly cares about his customers. He excels at his craft. I would highly recommend Ontario Flooring."

"Would definitely hire again! I hired Wayne via Angi. We had some 30-year old carpet we wanted to pull up and then refinish the wood underneath. We asked Wayne to do the master bedroom and the hallway on the second floor. He was very thorough in discussing options for our floors. He and his colleague were punctual and professional. The floors look amazing! We are very happy with their work!"

"I am so happy with my floors. Marcin and his coworker spent 3 days removing carpeting, sanding, and beautifully finishing our white oak flooring. The floors look brand new and we couldn’t be happier. They were meticulous and clean. Marcin is a true craftsman. Beautiful job guys! Thank you."

"I recently hired Milton and his company to replace my laminated flooring, which had been damaged by a flood. They did an outstanding job, installing beautiful tile flooring and completing all the work in just five days. I’m extremely pleased with the quality, professionalism, and efficiency they demonstrated throughout the project. Milton was easy to communicate with and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I’m so happy with the results that I already plan to rehire him next spring to renovate my kitchen. Highly recommend!"

"The owner Nick & his workmen were courteous & professional. They took extra care with moving my furniture and with my newly painted walls. My old, scratched & discolored wood floors looked like new when they were done. I highly recommend Sunrise Wood Flooring!"

"Workers were on time, did an excellent flooring installation. I can’t wait to use them for the next project."

"We were extremely happy with the work performed by H&M. Moises, Hector and crew were courteous and did whatever needed to please us. They did most of the renovation in our condo......painting, installation of bathroom cabinets, sink, installed tile floor, etc. They also installed vinyl flooring in our kitchen, living and dining rooms. They had a plumber replace our heating baseboard, I would highly recommend H&M if you want excellent work done!!"
