Starting with setting up the free appointment, ending with the crew and quality of the work - they deliver a great experience and I highly recommend them for anything waterproofing, insulation, concrete and foundation fixes. "They were very helpful and professional. Glen responded to all of my questions in depth and worked hard to get my business to waterproof and eliminate mold. There have been a few hard rains since they completed their work, and I haven't had any water in the basement so far."

"Moises and his crew repaired water rotted wood in difficult locations and completely finished the garage to every detail from insulation to molding, as shown in pictures here. They thought of every detail that shows their pride over their work. Not only is their work top notch, but they are also easy to work with and very communicative through the whole process. I have already hired them for a second job."

"Bobby was very responsive, he was at my home within an hour of calling him to give me an estimate. We needed to have a concrete slab replacement in our sidewalk in order to be able to sell our home. Bobby and his workers showed up promptly the following day and completed the work that needed to be done. I would highly recommend Bobking Construction, they did great work and were professional. They are also BBB approved!!!"

"Good job but a little bit pricey. Also, I have my water tank replace and he did dispose of the old tank. Not even, bringing it out of the basement for me to put into street curbside for recycling pickup. I have to hire somebody to bring it up from the basement."

"Im am so happy with the work that was done on my house. Tyler came and gave a very fair estimate on lifting my concrete side entrance stairs to my basement. He explained every step of the process and did exactly what we wanted with no issues. Everything was done to perfection. No damage was done and you cant even tell the stairs ever needed a repair in the first place. I would highly recommend this company and would hire again for any future jobs."

Basement Waterproofing questions, answered by experts

Crawl spaces are prone to issues caused by excess humidity and improper ventilation, but that doesn’t mean you should avoid buying a house with a crawl space. A home that is encapsulated and well-maintained shouldn’t have any more issues than a slab or basement home.

Roughing in and connecting utilities are the hardest parts of finishing a basement, and they’re the parts we typically don’t recommend doing as a DIY project. Unfortunately, your finishing timeline can be extended by weeks while you wait for contractors and inspectors to install electrical wiring, plumbing lines, and heating/cooling equipment and carry out inspections.

Costs depend on the area's size and condition, damage extent, and chosen method. A professional evaluation provides a tailored estimate based on specific needs.

If you decide to fill the space around your home’s foundation with landscaping materials, it’s important to consider the aesthetic as well as technical factors like drainage and protection from pests and the elements. Materials such as gravel, rubber mulch, concrete, and brick masonry are all good options.

If you don’t wish to dig it out and convert it into a finished basement, you can still encapsulate your crawl space to protect it from damage for an average cost of $5,500. Finishing a crawl space beyond this isn’t really worthwhile, as the low ceilings mean you won’t be able to use the area as living space.
