David and his team did amazing work. Went down to the studs and transformed my basement into a well insulated, cosy living space. Framed out and added a separate Laundry room as well as a huge walk-in pantry. Added a new sturdy staircase, and waterproof vinyl flooring. Added all new doors and wired in an in-wall speaker system. David always worked clean and was extremely reliable. When he was done all we had to do was move furniture in and enjoy the space he created for us.

Excellent. always on time, attention to detail, finished project in stated number of days, two assistants were very helpful and expedited the job, all refuse was properly disposed and they left the place dustpan clean. pricing was competitive. Thank You Dave

Dave and Joe were very honest and reliable. They renovated my condo in a timely manner! They were always on time and honest. They do high quality work .. My kitchen and bathroom came out amazing! I would recommend them to everyone I know . They were great!!!!

Dave and Joe were hired to convert my den into a bedroom for my son. They installed beautiful double doors, built a closet and fixed and installed an outside entrance. Fantastic work. This is the third time they have done renovations for me, I'm always thrilled. Clean, professional and great guys.

After using David and Joe in the past, I never hesitated to give them a call when we wanted to remodel our bedroom and combine 2 small closets to make a larger, walk in closet. David came over and gave me a detailed estimate as well as a timeframe to which how long the job would take. David was able to get to my project in a quick, timely manner. From day one, David and Joe would show up early, and always prepped the area, to make sure they kept a clean workspace and to protect the hardwood floors in the room. They did a great job taking down the walls and placing insulation in them since the original house had zero insulation behind the walls. The room had 2 smaller closets next to each other on the same wall so David and Joe reframed it into one large, walk-in style closet. This required them to place some hardwood on the floor where the original wall was in between. They precisely matched the wood and stain to where you would never be able to tell a small portion of the hardwood is new. David and Joe work effectively in making sure that each detail is perfect and to your liking. Their standard for the quality of work is even higher than the homeowners. I would absolutely recommend them for any job, big or small and would be using them again for future projects.

We had a very old bathroom that needed to be renovated. David came and gave us a throrough and detailed walkthrough of the options that we had for the space that we had to work with. After coming up with a plan, David promptly sent us a detailed contract with the listed work. David was able to schedule us in a timely manner and was able to work with our needs. David and Joe would show up on time and always worked very neat, Throughout the project, they always communicated well about the work that was being done and what was expected the next day. The tile work was precise and the attention to detail was incredible. In another room, we also had an entire wall that was a built-in bookshelf that we wanted removed. They insulated and put up sheetrock to make it a nice smooth wall. The wall fits seamlessly to the other walls and it gave us an extra foot of space in the room. We would 100% call David and Joe again for any projects big or small that we would need done.

Dave & Joe from DNJ installed our new front door and storm door. We knew from previous engagements that their workmanship and attention to detail is amazing. The installation was done quickly and came out looking fantastic. And, as I've mentioned in previous reviews, these guys are just so great to work with. They are always happy to address any concerns or issues that may come up and implement any design ideas.

During 2017 Dave & Joe, from DNJ, renovated our upstairs bathroom and did a fabulous job. So, during June 2018 we hired them again, to renovate our downstairs bathroom. Once again, their workmanship and professionalism was top shelf. My wife had several design ideas and Dave & Joe were happy to make her vision a reality. These guys know what they're doing and are really great to work with.

The large main room in our basement needed to be updated. Knotty pine paneling and cabinets were removed. The walls were refinished where needed. New cabinets were installed with a beautiful counter top. The whole room was painted and one wall that had the paneling was white-washed to make it look weathered. We were looking for that “beachy” vibe! And new flooring and a new staircase was also completed. We love our new basement! Dave and Joe are top notch..they are prompt and professional and great guys too! We have been using them since 2012 for various projects around the house and have never been disappointed with the results.

Dave and Joe made sure everything was good to go ahead of time. Dave was flexible as to changing requirements and punctual. He did not to be "chased" to follow up, and I knew where things were at all times. Job site was left clean. I would definitely use these guys again.

David did an excellent job. My mother's back porch was old and rotted. David created a thorough and detailed proposal which addressed all the repairs that were required. He replaced the landing and supports for the roof. He disposed of all of the material he removed. The work was very high quality. David was very easy to work with. I would hire him again in a second.

In a word FANTASTIC, Dave and Joe did all the work themselves in an incredibly quiet, polite and professional manner within the time predicted. I felt at ease and secure having them work in my house even when I was not present. DNJ Home Inprovements is a true find. Thank you Angie’s List.

We are extremely satisfied with the work done by Dave and Joe. As others have noted in reviews, Dave always responds promptly to phone calls and also calls whenever they were running a bit late arriving in the morning. We were comfortable with leaving them alone in our house, and they did a good job cleaning up each day. Their budgeting was on target, so there were no major increases in expenditures along the way. Most importantly, the quality of their work is excellent, and we are so happy with our new kitchen. Recommend highly.

David did an AMAZING JOB! I had the skylight done and now have to schedule the other things. He does nice job and I will call him again for the work that I need to have taken care of. he should be your go too call, you will be very happy, I know I am!

Excellent work.... job turned out better than expected and came in on budget! Guys were great to work with and had no concerns about leaving them alone in the house. We would absolutely hire them again and will probably do so soon!

I trusted them with the key to my house and every day when I returned from home the work performed was great and the house remained cleaned each day. Inspectors came promptly for them and each phase of the project was approved quickly. I have used them in the past and will certainly use them on going with projects. My basement is now called the "lower level" because it looks so beautiful.

Guys were terrific. We are looking to move, so most of the work was to help us sell the home. They were able to give us practical and cost effective advice on how to fix the problems we had and then get the job done with minimal delays or issues. They always kept us updated on progress, let us know if they were going to be late and were always pleasant & easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them for any of your home improvement jobs, big or small.

Went extremely well, David is professional and great to deal with. Price was very fair and on target with estimate. Above all, David shows up on time and returns phone calls promptly. Have more work planned with DNJ in the spring. Couldn't recommend DNJ more.
