"I scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday on a Monday morning. I called to confirm details and was pleasently surprised when they were able to come that Monday afternoon due to a weather related resecheduling of a job. I received a text when they were on route and they arrived on time. They quickly accessed the situation and correctly identified the cause and location of the clogged drain. The Warrens, a father and son run business, were a pleasure to work with. Their communication throughout the incident was excellent. "I’ve recently been back and forth with companies lately trying to get a solution to my hot water tank. Some said flush some tried throwing ball park numbers out saying that not only heater need to be replace then went on water lines ball valve etc. long story short woodys drain service came out which by the way great guy goes by the name Jeff, came did a inspection on everything and at end of the day my tank was over 15 years old tank parts started going. Jeff was able to give me a great quote got started right away and was out the door 2 hours later. Would recommend to anyone. Will do all my plumbing jobs with this company from now on. A toilet flange secures your toilet in place to the floor, and connects your toilet to the drain pipe that carries its contents to the sewer. Obvious signs that your flange needs replacement include when it can’t keep up with these two functions. If a bolt at the bottom of your toilet tank is loose, it can directly cause a leak. If a bolt securing the toilet base to the floor is loose, it won’t directly cause a leak but can lead to the same result over time. That’s because the loose bolts will eventually move the wax seal or cause cracks in the bowl from the toilet being wobbly.

Start by gutting the old fixtures and features that need to be removed, such as the tile, vanity, and flooring. You may benefit by removing the toilet, even if you intend to use the same one. Next, install the new shower or tub, followed by the flooring, and then the drywall, which you should then paint. After that, install your new cabinets, vanity, countertop, sink, and faucet, in that order. Replace your light fixture next. Lastly, reconnect the toilet.

A standard toilet flange should fit snugly into the outflow pipe and sit level with the subfloor. Installing a new one without first removing the old one will make it impossible to form a seal and keep the toilet bowl bolted securely in place. 

However, if you’re dealing with leakage or wobbling because you’ve installed a new type of bathroom tile (making the floor taller), you may be able to avoid fully replacing the flange by opting for a toilet flange extender. Extenders typically come in kits for easy DIY installation, fit over the existing flange, and bring the drain connection higher.
