"Shaw's House was the absolute correct choice. As you can see from the photos, I had an odd ask- building a very slim upright coat rack in a tight space. The product was even better than I'd envisioned- the idea for a modular pegboard was all Mr. Shaw. They were kind, responsive, worked quickly, and most importantly, built an incredible piece of hardware that looks great and works perfectly in our apartment. Could not recommend more Shaw's House more highly. A++."

"Wilson did awesome work on my draws. The craftsmanship of his sanding and finishing are amazing. His time and effort to give me exactly what I needed was definitely on point. It was a plan come true for me because I had been waiting for years for someone who I knew to do it for me. I never thought about hiring anyone to do this for me. I'm grateful for Wilson who made a plan come true for me."

"Ray and his team came to my home to install an outdoor shed for the backyard. They were professional and worked efficiently and diligently until the project was completed. Furthermore, they went the extra mile to help with the disposal of the shed box. I would recommend Ray and his team for any projects. Thank you again."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

Clean regularly, seal wood surfaces, and inspect for damage or rust to ensure longevity and safety.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Porticos last 25 to 60 years, depending on the material used. A portico’s roof typically matches the roof of the rest of the home and can be replaced simultaneously. Portico columns have a similar life span if properly maintained and regularly sealed. In some areas, harsh weather and extreme temperatures may cause a portico to wear more quickly.

Yes, many gazebos are permanent structures built onto the land. However, if you have a portable gazebo that isn’t secured to the ground, you’ll want to check the manufacturer’s instructions to understand when to put it away. Generally speaking, when it’s particularly windy or wet outside, you should take down your temporary gazebo.
