"I had Countywide Paving pave my driveway, and unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The craftsmanship was laughable. It was evident that little care or attention to detail was put into the job. Not only did this compromise the aesthetic appeal of my property, but it also raised concerns about the longevity and durability of the driveway. After two years, the sides of the driveway began to crumble and fall apart. Large cracks began to form near the middle and pieces of the driveway have since come off. I reached out to Brian for help, because he guaranteed that the driveway would be under warranty for 5 years. Brian initially responded and told me he would fix the driveway, no problem. He took down my information and said that he would get right back to me. Well that was over a year ago. My calls went unanswered, and text messages ignored. It has been incredibly frustrating to be left in the dark, especially considering the substantial investment I made in their services. Overall, my experience with Countywide Paving was deeply disappointing. Their lack of professionalism, coupled with subpar workmanship and poor communication, left me feeling cheated and dissatisfied. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with caution or look elsewhere for a more reliable and competent contractor."

"BUYER BEWARE! J&E Masonry Basement and Waterproofing, owned by Jason Hacker Sr, located in Berne, NY. I hired this company, to fix front stairs and a retaining wall for a cost of $15,000. They did not finish the job and the work that was done was subpar. The owner came to my house and claimed that the job was finished, and he needed his final payment, So, I paid him. The following morning, I went to the job site, and nothing was completed. I contacted the Owner, he said he will finish. That was more than 60 days ago. I have text messages from June stating he will finish and what he is going to do etc. Nothing has been done and I have many photos for proof of the unfinished work and poor quality of it. So, if you would like please message me and I will be more than happy to share with you. I spoke to 2 of my lawyers, both are very confident I could get a judgement. The issue is that it would cost me more money and the owner, and his wife do not own anything of value that can be gone after, as everything is rented or worthless. This is a warning to all consumers before you use this company. I have known the owner and his wife for many years and had considered them as close friends, if they did this to a friend, just think of what they would do to someone they don’t know."
