"I had my front steps of my house done. The job was poorly done. When I asked if my steps were going to look like that when it was completed, I was told yes. He told me all my steps were different sizes. What he failed to say was he cut them wrong. So he lied to cover up the mistake.Because of the slabs being cut incorrectly he put pieces on the end of the slabs to fill in the gaps. It looks like a bad puzzle. Terrible job. Not professional at all. I’m so disappointed that I wasted my money on this company. I do not recommend them at all."

"Rob came out, gave us a fair bid, and a crew started the work on time. From what I can tell (without going up on the roof), the quality of the work was good (no leaks yet). However, they did not complete the job before the weather got too cold to continue and they packed up for the winter something last November, 2021. As I write this review, it is September 2022, and I have been waiting 10 months for the roofing job to be completed. For the last three months, Rob has not been returning my calls or texts, so I am stuck with an unfinished job that I will probably have to find someone else to complete."

You can use light clips to easily hook Christmas lights to your shingles, eaves, gutters, or soffit. However, using a telescoping pole is a surefire way to ensure your safety while hanging Christmas lights because it doesn’t require using a ladder or climbing onto the roof.

You should always hang the lights before the ornaments because hanging lights on top of ornaments can cause some to fall off. If a light sits directly on top of an ornament, it can cause it to heat up and possibly change its color or cause it to crack. 

First of all, don’t shop for bargain lights—often, you’ll end up with a faulty or broken strand, full of dead bulbs or less-than-luminous brightness. Choose quality lights that will last you many years—LED lights have been known to last as long as 100,000 hours. Second, plan ahead and purchase lights for next year’s Christmas during this year’s post-holiday sales. Finally, have a vision and a plan—if you know the measurements of your home, including any windows, doors, and outside bushes you wish to light up, you should be able to only purchase the necessary lights and not more than you need.

Blinker lights come with a standard box of Christmas lights, so you don’t need to pay extra for them unless you’ve misplaced the ones from the original box. You can buy replacement Christmas blinker lights for about $8 per box. If you want to plan for future holidays, you can buy a value box of 24 replacement blinker bulbs for about $12. Also called flasher lights, the replacement bulbs often come in packages of six bulbs.

It can be frustrating to see one half of your lights working while the other half is dark. Long strands of Christmas lights often contain more than one circuit. If half of your strand won’t light up, there’s likely a burned-out or loose bulb on that circuit in the strand. Check the strand and replace any loose or damaged bulbs.
