He will tell you exactly just what is needed to get the job done at a bare minimum and if you want more bells and whistles that's up to the customer. He fixed leaky sink pipes that were over 50 years old and we haven't had a problem since. He also unclogged the pipes. We definitely plan to have him come back to do more work as needed.
