"Awesome services! Repair work on our wrought iron gate was first quality and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company. Very, very pleased. Next time I need welding work, fence repairs or gate repairs, I will hire this company, no one else!"

"Victor and his staff did a great job. He offered good advice relative to paint colors and where we could save money. Victor also followed up to touch up a few minor spots which had been missed. He is knowledgeable, professional and a really nice man. I highly recommend him."

"I locked myself out of my house taking out the trash. Lucky enough to have my phone in my pocket. First company I called was the first one that popped up on goxogle. They show up, the guy could not lick olen.my front door, and was going to drill it open. I asked how much this was going to cost, and he replied 300.00 !! I, having gone through this before a long time ago, knew better. Said ****.no. then he said i owed him for his attempt, to which i said **** no again. Stood there and argued for a while, but i held my ground. My neighbor recommended Mathew to me. Called him out, while first guy was trying to call the cops to gwt me to pay him. I said fine.. Mathew showed up 20 minutes later, walks up to the door, picks it open in umder a minute, and gives me a bill for 125.00 for emergency service. I found it far more reasonable. When the door swung ooen, the other guy peeled out...lol Beware of Wanna-a-be Locksmiths !!! Stick with Matlock, he wont do you wrong."

"I met Mark at his address where his welding equipment is set up. We discussed the project, and its solutions, and he did the work, exactly as we had discussed. You can tell by his shop that he's ready and able to take care of many sorts of projects, and I won't hesitate to call upon him in the future.

"We were quite satisfied with the work and quality for the most part... one or two welds on the security screens could have been executed with better continuity and the fence line laid out a bit more accurately on the side yard. There was one afternoon appointment which was missed entirely without a phone call or explanation.  When all is said and done, the fence really sets off our yard and we feel much safer with the locked security screens.

"Victor called the day I put in the request for rv garage door repair. He left a message saying he could do the job. The next morning he sent a text to be sure I knew he was available. I told him the problems and he said he could take care of it. He arrived as promised. Very professional and polite. He fixed the rv garage door and then he serviced our two car garage doors. Now they all work great. We will call Victor any time we need anything done concerning our garage doors"

Welding questions, answered by experts

You should not do your own welding unless you have the proper training and experience. Most home electrical systems can only handle MIG welding, which creates weaker bonds than TIG welding and won’t work on certain metals or metal thicknesses. Both welding forms usually require the use of shielding gas, which can be dangerous to store at home. Additionally, welding machines create temperatures of over 3,000 degrees, and the sparks can blind you if you don’t have the proper equipment. As such, it’s usually better to hire a professional welder for your welding projects.

The average cost for a welding project is about $300, with typical costs ranging from $125 to $490. However, prices can be as low as $125 for very small jobs or exceed $1,200 for large or complex projects. Welders typically charge an hourly rate between $65 and $150, depending on their experience, and many charge a minimum fee to cover overhead and travel expenses. The total cost is influenced by several factors, including labor, the cost of materials like metal rods and shielding gas, the type of metal being welded, the project's size and complexity, and your geographic location. For a precise quote, it's best to ask a local welder for an estimate based on your specific project.

Welding is the process of using extreme heat—and, sometimes, pressure—to attach two pieces of metal. In contrast, metal fabrication is a more involved process that can include welding, sheet metal work, bending, and other forms of metal manipulation. Metal fabrication is a large-scale project that may or may not involve welding, while welding is more often a step in larger fabrication projects.

It will likely take an experienced pro less than an hour to install a ground rod, which is another reason why letting them handle the job is such a good idea. Safety concerns aside, it would likely take you much longer to install a ground rod if you decided to take this one as a DIY job.

Sawing your hot tub into more manageable chunks so it can be lifted easily into a truck takes several hours. Generally, 2.5 hours for smaller hot tubs and around 4 hours for larger ones with the help of one to two people. If money isn't a concern and you want to skip the physical labor, you can hire a pro to get the job done.
