"Superbly well. I need the welding done quickly and Carter Hardman made it easy to get it done at a great price, coming to my home to do the work. Getting the repair done couldn't have been more convenient or more reasonable priced for home service."

"Victor called the day I put in the request for rv garage door repair. He left a message saying he could do the job. The next morning he sent a text to be sure I knew he was available. I told him the problems and he said he could take care of it. He arrived as promised. Very professional and polite. He fixed the rv garage door and then he serviced our two car garage doors. Now they all work great. We will call Victor any time we need anything done concerning our garage doors"

"Javier did an excellent job of fulfilling the work on a limited timeframe that I had. He was very professional with his work and was constantly communicating with me with regards to changes in the design that I originally wanted. Highly recommended to hire, would recommend him to my friends who are in need right now of installing their fences."

"I only use James when I need some work done to my house. He responds fast, gets the work done quicker than just about anyone else I've ever used and seems very concerned with leaving his customers happy."

Welding questions, answered by experts

This all depends on the tools you have on hand and whether you’re trying to cut a straight line or shapes.

The best tool to use for straight lines is either a circular saw or table saw. When cutting shapes, a jigsaw will be the easiest and most precise tool to use.

It will likely take an experienced pro less than an hour to install a ground rod, which is another reason why letting them handle the job is such a good idea. Safety concerns aside, it would likely take you much longer to install a ground rod if you decided to take this one as a DIY job.

Cutting round ductwork requires precision and the right tools. A duct cutter, specifically designed for circular ducts, is ideal. First, mark the cutting line on the duct using a measuring tape and pencil. Then, position the duct cutter's blade on the marked line. Apply steady pressure, rotating the cutter around the duct. The sharp blade creates a clean, precise cut. Alternatively, a reciprocating saw with a metal-cutting blade can be used for larger round ducts. Ensure the duct is securely held in place while making the cut to prevent slips and maintain accuracy.

Costs depend on unit complexity, labor, wall mounting needs, and additional accessories like floating shelves.

To maintain custom or fabricated metal structures and extend their lifespan and appearance, perform regular cleaning, apply rust prevention treatments, and use protective coatings.
