"This outfit saved my tail several times. My first house had a furnace installed by another firm back in 2011 or so: Lennox Elite Oil Fired Furnace Model #02305-140/154-6A SERVICE # 4609L49697 I had nothing but issues with the installation and I was told by the folks that installed it that it was an 'oil line' issue and I would need to spend 10s of thousands to repair it. I called RHP for a second opinion and voila, they noticed that the installation of the lines was done backward, and boom! All worked just fine. RHP saved me needless stress, costly needless repairs. I can't thank them enough for sending Dennis their Furnace expert."

"They did a great job. And for a lot less than other contractors bid. Very thorough prep work, and painted with spray and roll. Well done."

Wallpaper Removal questions, answered by experts

Prime and repaint walls after removal to ensure a clean, finished surface.

Wallpaper steamers can be very helpful for removing large sections of wallpaper more easily, but they’re not always a good idea for DIYers. The drywall behind your wallpaper is meant to stay dry, and excessive moisture from improper technique with a wallpaper steamer can leave you with severe wall damage. Drywall also retains moisture, which could result in mold growth over time. It’s best to hire a professional to remove your wallpaper with a steamer to avoid wall damage and related moisture issues.

Most jobs take 1-3 days, depending on room size and adhesive strength.

If you’re installing new wallpaper and have leftover glue, you can remove unused wallpaper paste from the bucket or pan it’s in by letting it dry. If it’s an oil-based paste, seal it in a plastic bag and throw it in the garbage. Otherwise, toss the leftover wallpaper paste in the trash. Although it’s water-soluble, don’t rinse unused wallpaper paste down the sink because it could dry in the pipes and cause a blockage.

It can take a professional anywhere between several hours and a full day to remove wallpaper in one room. How long wallpaper removal takes depends on the type of adhesive, the wallpaper’s age, the condition of the walls, and more.
