"After determining the the track lighting would not look good in the location it was purchased for, the owner of the company told me he would go with me to Home Depot to pick out something that would work and look good.  He and his employee and I went to Home Depot and the picked out all the parts needed to complete the job.  This was a tremendous help as I had company coming the next day and needed this completed right away.  I was extremely pleased with their work and the extra effort they put in for this project and to help me out."

"Kevin, the owner of KSM, is a good guy to work with. It's obvious he has a lot of experience and is able to think on his feet. He removed a marble tile from our wall and installed new valves. It was a tight workspace and took several hours to get everything where it needed to be. I was able to find some matching marble tile here in town and they cut that to fit the new fixtures. He also spent several hours removing some old moldy caulk from around the perimeter of the tub and redoing it. Very labor intensive but it ended up looking nice. It wasn't cheap but plumbers rarely are. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

"Prompt appointment scheduling, good job cleaning out debris from condenser/fan (though no vacuum).  Somehow after the checkup, I noticed my AC started running nearly full time, as all the outlet temperatures went from near 50 degrees to 69.  After a month and a sky high electric bill I called my old service guy and they fixed the issue and outlet temp back down to 52 degrees and no longer a near constant running of AC.  Coincidence, possibly.  But I'm guessing not and won't be using them again.  No parts were changed out with my old service tech, just an adjustment to fix.

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Generally, a ceiling fan should be mounted at least seven feet from the floor in the center of your room with a wall clearance of around 18 inches. If your ceiling is more than eight feet high, it’s recommended by experts that the ceiling fan be mounted around eight to nine feet from the ground. This helps ensure a better quality of circulated airflow.

In short, no. You can use the square footage range chart in this article to determine the right size ceiling fan for both indoor and outdoor spaces. However, weather elements can damage types of ceiling fans that aren't designed for outdoor use, so your ceiling fan should be weather-resistant if you plan to install it outside.

The direction you want your ceiling fan to move in depends on the season you’re in. During summer, you want it to move counterclockwise to produce a cooling downdraft. During winter, you want it to move clockwise to circulate warm air throughout the room.

Though possible, installing a ceiling fan yourself requires electrical knowledge and confidence working with home wiring. Following the manufacturer's instructions carefully and observing safety precautions are crucial components of a DIY installation.

Essential tools for ceiling fan installation include a ladder, screwdriver, pliers, wire strippers, and a circuit tester. If the ceiling is angled or features unique configurations, ensure the availability of a compatible mounting bracket.
