"Jose was very friendly and professional He came to check the site for a free estimate almost immediately, that was nice and efficient. Jose repaired over 100 feet of old fence on our property! It took one day to place new posts in concrete and another day to repair and replace fence panels. Cost was exceptionally reasonable, work performed was completed professionally, removed all trash and left the site clean. Couldn’t ask for better service. Hire this guy for all your landscaping needs. I will be working with Jose again soon on a new backyard project!"

Plant Watering questions, answered by experts

Cracks, water damage, and holes from fixtures or impact.

The amount of drywall you need for a 1,000-square-foot basement depends on the ceiling height, angles, number of doors and windows, and more. To find the wall square footage, multiply the width and height of each wall, minus any gaps from windows or doors, and add the totals together. You’ll also need enough drywood nails or screws to install the drywall correctly.

Plaster is denser, harder, and more porous than drywall, so it absorbs moisture differently. This means you’ll often need more prep work, such as thorough sanding, patching, and priming with a high-quality bonding primer. Additionally, you may need more coats of paint to achieve even coverage. While the process takes more time, it helps ensure a durable and professional-looking result.

Venetian plaster is a highly durable wall finish that becomes a rock-like substance once dried, making it last longer than most other wall finishes. Its lifespan can range from decades to centuries, potentially lasting a lifetime. Key factors influencing its longevity include the quality of the initial application, whether it's properly sealed against moisture, and how the wall is maintained and treated (e.g., how often it is touched or bumped). Due to its mineral content, it can also develop a patina over time.

Very little. One inch of water can stain walls, warp wood, and create a perfect environment for mold growth. One to two inches of water can do significant damage to drywall, insulation, and electrical systems. Anything over that is considered an extensive flood, often resulting in severe structural damage.
