Was in need of plumbing work and repair that was part of a water heater failure that also caused damage. Called and asked if they service our area, they said they did, and I asked to have an estimate. After several calls, we succesfully arranged for the plumber to visit, and Jorge & Brad arrived as scheduled. Both Jorge & Brad seemed knowledgeable and responsive. They said there would be no charge for the estimate and they would prepare it for me to receive by the following week via email. More than a week later, no estimate had I seen. Had to make multiple phone calls to find out where the estimate was. After more than a week of phone calls & promises of return calls that they never fulfilled, the person answering the phone (Karesse) said that Jorge had sent the estimate to a "VP for approval." To my surprise, I got a phone call the next day, but it was just Karesse again to say that they were looking into the matter and were going to get to the bottom of where that estimate could be. This sounded good, but resulted in nothing at all working with Roadrunner. After another week had gone by, more phone calls resulted in being told the same thing again and again, with no one stepping up to be responsible nor actually get the estimate to me. I requested to speak to a manager and was told no one was available to speak with me. I asked for a manager to call me and put a condition on it, "if they actually care" to fulfill on having our business and doing what they said they would do. Already a month went by without the estimate, and the last time I spoke with Roadrunner, all I got was one last phone call from Karesse saying that this was important for them to resolve so they would call the next day. I never heard from Roadrunner that next day nor ever again and never received an estimate. It is clear they do not value customers and do not know what integrity is nor what it is to fulfill on the basics of being reliable service providers in our world. Not recommended as reliability to deliver on services and customer care are not what they are up to.

Dryer Vent Cleaning
This is probably one of the worst companies I've ever hired to do anything. In late August, they supposedly came to clean my dryer vent. A day later, wet lint started backing up into my dryer. As I'd never had this problem before, I thought it was an issue with the dryer. It took quite a long time to get a repair technician in (Covid times!) to tell me that it was because the dryer vent cleaning had been done so poorly that it had caused an additional blockage, possibly because the tech from Roadrunner had accidentally sealed the vent on the roof. I called Roadrunner back and explained that they needed to come and fix their problem. They scheduled me for a week out. When the tech failed to arrive that day, I called them. "Oh, the tech called in sick, we'll have to reschedule you. We called you this morning to let you know!" (They had not.) A day later, when they still hadn't called, I called them to reschedule. They told me that they would maybe reschedule, but that I'd have to pay them again to fix their mistake because it had been more than 30 days before I'd been able to get a dryer technician to diagnose the problem that they had caused. Absolutely terrible service. I will be using my only recourse at this point, which is to dispute the initial charge with my credit card company.

Roadrunner was great, arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem (old corroded thermopyles) and had the replacement parts with them for our very old wall heaters. Fixed quickly and they've worked great since.

I called Roadrunner and they sent a technician out the same day. He identified the problem and gave me an estimate for the regulator repair and having a new water shutoff valve installed. I felt the cost of the regulator was high and he suggested that I could purchase the part myslef and only pay for installation charges. The part would not receive Roadrunners guarantee, however. I decided to locate and buy the needed parts and called Roadrunner for guidance. They were very helpful in guiding me to the correct parts. I called once I purchased the parts and they came out and installed them the next day. The technician was very professional and friendly. He completed the job in about 1.5 hours and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. A month later, and everything is performing normally.

I was given a window in which Carlos was going to arrive at my home (between 8 and 10 am). I was fully aware that the roads were quite bad as it had snowed last night and my wife had to drive into town this morning so I waited until 10:55 to call and find out what was happening. The woman who answered the phone said that Carlos should have called me to let me know where he was and that she would call me back. Instead, Carlos called me and said that the office should have called. I told them not to bother. BOTH should have called me so I could have taken care of some things instead of waiting. I can figure that this is the way that Roadrunner takes care of business and I really do not need the headache.

Building these customer partnerships requires expending much more effort and customer care up front, while micro-focusing upon building long-term sustainable revenue from families of parents, children, grandchildren and family relations. Great company customer partnerships also lead a to durable, sustainable brand image for companies; recognizing that brand image is not build by money and/or advertising, but by understanding and humanity on a customer by customer basis. Brand image is customer experiential and cannot be created through advertising, marketing or immediate sales. Building customer partnerships requires understanding and customer compassion through five phases of partnership: • Initial information and needs analysis • Marketing and sales • Customer care by actively and compassionately resolving all customer questions and concerns • Installation with open information sharing about timing, concerns, issues, and challenges • Customer follow up and care – touching the customer during and immediately after the install event and in an on-going manner at least three to four times a year after that. I called Roadrunner and they dispatched someone to come over the same day. The technician called and arrived earlier than initially promised. he arrived, surveyed the problem and fixed it within an hour or so. He installed a new water cutoff valve with my approval, in addition to replacing the corroded pipe. He was very professional, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after himself.

Great! Mario took the cover off the boiler and went work inspecting and cleaning several items. He performed tests that included combustion efficiency to insure correct boiler operation. He then test the various zones separately and together, He then inspected the outside vents to be sure they were functioning correctly.

I haven't had any troubled with them. They did what they were suppose to do. I don't have any price comparison. They system works. The quality is fine. Our needs were to check out the air conditioner and change the filer. They satisfied them. They came when they said they would come. This was not an emergency situation, it was an annual maintenance. I can't think of anything off hand. They came and did what they were suppose to do. I have no idea how many workers were there. The work took fifteen to twenty minutes to complete. That they were competent at what they did.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Prompt response to my request for estimate. Price was lower than competitor in town and warranty was significantly longer. They were very responsive to my needs for installation and their electrician was able work with me for alternative solution instead of adding sub-panel for electrical installation (at additional cost). I would highly recommend them and use their services again!

We selected the Roadrunner bid based on price, equipment to be installed, and Angie's list ranking. Mario and Paul did an absolutely outstanding job of reconfiguring our boiler room and installing all new boiler, water heater, piping, pumps, zone values, and thermostats. They installed the Weil-McLain Evergreen 299MBH boiler and the 55 gallon indirect Aqua Plus water heater. The boiler room looks fantastic and the boiler itself is now easily accessible. We were so pleased with the results and the responsiveness of Mario and Paul. After the final payment, we had a little problem. One call to Mario and he and Paul were at our house immediately to find and correct the issue. We were given a tour of our new boiler and its operating output to the screen. Mario told us to call him anytime. What phenomenal customer service. The new boiler has been operating for two weeks with no problems so far. We will update this review in the future if any changes occur.

Excellent. I was contacted quickly, an appointment set up for the next day. Nathan looked at the water heater, explained a simple fix to the problem, and I avoided an expensive second visit. Nathan was very knowledgeable, polite, and extremely helpful. This company will be the only one I use for heating/plumbing problems in the future!

We had several other companies come out to fix that but nobody has been able to fix it. He got there and fixed it with no problem. We've had them do the work on air conditioning and the swamp coolers. They've been just excellent. They're very reasonably priced. They really go through everything. He was amazing.
