"Dean Craig was just awesome -- experienced, courteous, and prompt. He was able to remove a hospital bed from a 3rd floor apartment, in addition to dilapidated furniture and other items. As he was completing the haul away other residents had been observing him and asked him for his business card. I would (without a doubt) recommend Trust Waste and Dean Craig!"

"What a great job these folks did. We basically were only moving furniture, as we had "pre-moved" most of our clothing and knick-knacks, but what a great job they did with furniture: taking apart and reassembling furniture, wrapping and protecting finishes, and securing our goods on their truck. They did move one closet of clothing, hanging it in wardrobe boxes and rehanging at our destination. They were as busy as bees throughout the process. I highly recommend Moving APT."

"Mr. Gonzales showed up at my house exactly when he said he would. Provided a cost estimate (I think it was a little high based on my neighbor's experience with a different contractor). He and the bobcat operator showed up the next day exactly when Mr. Gonzales said they would. The bobcat operator worked steady until the job was finished. The area being cleaned out was very confined and required many trips back and forth hauling dirt. There was no room to turn around and the operator had to back out carrying each load. On 2 occasions he hit the rock wall fence and did a small amount of damage to the wall. (once on my fence and once on my neighbors fence.) The operator informed Mr. Gonzales and Mr. Gonzales said he would have someone out that same afternoon to get an estimate on the fence. This was done as Mr. Gonzales promised. The next morning the person repairing the fence showed up as promised and fixed my fence and my neighbor's fence at no cost to me. Mr. Gonzales is absolutely trustworthy. He says what he will do and he does what he says he will do."

"I really wasn't completely satisfied with the job. I have a lot of trees. I have the job done about once a year. That's probably the worst one I've ever gotten. The guy didn't have a trailer to haul all the tree lengths away. He took what he could at the back of his truck. There were no additional charges. My dissatisfaction was that he didn't have the proper equipment. Part of the job required that he haul away all the tree lengths and stuff. He just took what he could at the back of his pick up. The quality was good."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

A house demolition entails removing the structure of your home using demolition equipment. This leaves most of the materials practically unusable. You can reduce project costs and harvest building materials by choosing deconstruction instead. Deconstruction involves salvaging as many reusable materials and structural pieces from the home as possible. The foundation is typically left intact.

It’s not difficult to dispose of wood pellet ash, but you should always let it cool completely before disposal to avoid it sparking a fire. If you’ve got an energy-efficient pellet stove, there shouldn’t be much to empty from the ash box, anyway. However, once the ash has cooled, you might consider composting it or simply adding it to your garden or plant soil. The ash is full of minerals, not chemicals, so it’s a wonderful fertilizer for grass and plants.

Hauling is all about moving stuff from point A to point B, like furniture or construction materials. Junk removal, on the other hand, is more specialized. It focuses on removing items you no longer want or need, especially the bulky, broken, or hard-to-dispose-of things that won’t fit in a trash bin. In a nutshell, you can think of hauling as transport and junk removal as creating a clean slate.

It’s often not necessary to clean up rocks before you sell or donate them, although it’s a nice gesture. Cleaning the rocks you’re getting rid of probably isn’t worthwhile if you’re selling a large volume of small rocks, but if you’re selling or donating large boulders for landscape design, a quick clean might fetch more money or help out the donation center.

Remove household junk, construction debris, yard waste, and old appliances.
