"I don't usually leave reviews for companies, but I just had to for this experience. We hired Desert Winds Painting to paint the outside of our house in Farmington. We've had some really bad experiences with contractors in the past, so we ended up getting 5 bids (they were #5 out of 5) to have our house painted. I really wanted to make sure we were making the right choice. From the moment we requested a quote, I was impressed by the professionalism. During the estimate, it was clear that they are knowledgable in their field, and by the end of the estimate, it was obvious that they were the right choice. "I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."
