"They did a very good job and I highly recommend them to be used by anybody. As a matter of fact, the next door neighbor, they went ahead and hired them to do a project for them because they saw that I was very happy with the work they did. So, I recommend them to the neighbor and they did it the very next day."

"The job turned out excellent! Andres was informative and patient with someone who was not familiar with xeriscaping or southwest plants. He was also a good troubleshooter along with designing. Nellie in the office was welcoming and responsive. Any delay (minor and primarily due to weather) was communicated. The crew was great. The project involved clearing the backyard to the dirt and rebuilding, including new slab patio (with stamping). Front yard plants were also trimmed for a polished look."

"My elderly parents' AC went out at the beginning of very hot summer. They are on a fixed income so the $1500 price tag that other companies were charging was too high for them. Bruce was able to work with us and provide a gently used Master Cool unit (from a recent refrigerated AC conversion) at a significant savings. He even provided a two year warranty on the work and equipment. He was timely and respectful and we appreciated it very much especially since I am out of town (and ended up paying for the work)."

Foundation Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

The type of stormwater drainage system you need depends on your area’s storm severity and frequency. Your property’s location should also be considered, including the surrounding soil type, nearest roads, existing drainage systems, and slopes and hills. Your property’s structure, such as decks, walkways, crawl spaces, and foundation, also affects what drainage system will work the best.

Statistics show that 98% of basements will experience some form of water damage over time. However, that doesn’t mean all basements will experience severe flooding. The best way to prevent a water-damaged basement is to keep up with home maintenance and have proper drainage installed outside your home to direct water away from the foundation. You can also consider building a flood wall around the house if you live in a flood-prone area.

Yes, you can add a battery to your existing sump pump. There are batteries available that can be plugged into your existing system; however, most battery backups come as a complete system and act as a replacement for your existing sump pump.

Yes, you can finish a basement that leaks, as long as you address the leak first. Before finishing a basement, you’ll need to repair any cracks in the walls and waterproof the basement to prevent future leaks. It’s much harder to clean up a water leak from a finished basement than an unfinished one, so preemptively addressing any leaking areas prevents expensive repairs in the future.

If you hire a professional, installing a new sewage ejector pump costs $850 to $3,500, or an average of $2,300. Otherwise, if you handle the installation yourself, you can expect to pay $500 to $1,000 for the sewage ejector pump, permits, and other supplies required for this DIY project.
