Customers say: Quick response

"Based largely upon positive HA reviews, I gave bid to Oscar. He came out with 3 sturdy workers and in about 4 hours we gave my lawn and grounds a good spring cleaning...best they've had in years. Oscar listens well and is reliable, congenial and hard working for a fair price. I will call Oscar again."

"I had a huge multi branched elm branch hanging over my driveway. With every storm, some of the branches fell off. It was time to remove the huge limb. I texted CJ’s and they responded immediately. They were able to remove the dangerous limb the next day. They actually cut the branches and limb up for my neighbor. The job went smoothly and the price was reasonable."

"Two men did most of the work with an additional man arriving later. All were very hard workers, conscientious, professional, followed instructions, and pleasant. As they worked on assigned project we were doing other work in yard that they offered their own tool for. We were pleased with their work. They were reasonably priced and completed job in s timely manner. When they realized another job would delay them to ours they had the courtesy to call and let us know in advance. Would highly recommend these young men."

"I will definitely call Crusher Landscaping again - for both large and small jobs! I stopped the two workers before they left and asked them to complete one more thing. They were very nice about it and took care of that one task right away. It is great to have a business simply help with yard clean up and trimming. We have been ignored by landscapers for small jobs, and this is a wonderful service when it is not a huge job. I will use Crusher for my big spring project."

Lawn Irrigation questions, answered by experts

Water the lawn thoroughly, apply fertilizer, and overseed if necessary to promote healthy growth.

Yes, Bahia grass spreads on its own thanks to its short stolon system. However, it might not seem like your Bahia grass spreads well due to its slow growth. Bahia grass takes around 3 to 4 weeks to germinate and an additional two weeks to grow thicker.

During this time, fast-growing, competitive weeds may pop up, so weed your lawn to give your Bahia grass a chance to grow. This grass can take up to two years to become established. Once established, Bahia grass typically does well in suitable climates.

Yes, orchard grass is a perennial weed that will come back each spring. However, if you maintain a healthy, dense lawn in the spring, orchard grass will not have as much space to flourish. Remove signs of the weed early in the spring season whenever possible.

Water your yard a little more deeply after a drought for about two weeks (while still avoiding overwatering). Continue to water in the early morning hours before 10 a.m. You'll also want to invest in some high-quality fertilizer to get more nutrients to your roots and help them grow back stronger and quicker. Look up your grass and soil type, or do a soil test, to see what type of fertilizer you need.

If you spray a DIY vinegar solution that contains high salt, it can disrupt the soil's structure and make it difficult for plants to grow. That's why it's vital to avoid spraying vinegar solution on areas where you are trying to grow plants and flowers. When using a mix of vinegar and soap, some say you can plant a few days after the vinegar dries.
