316 Landscape Maintenance

Our experience with Matt and his crew started out good. Throughout the weeklong process of removing our 25 year old crabgrass infected yard and laying brand new sod, there were multiple issues from communication with his crew, machinery issues with rented equipment delaying the process, and disrespectful team members. At the beginning of the process, we were assured that the crabgrass would be completely removed and would not return after the yard was rototilled, new topsoil added, and new sod laid. That was in April. We are now in September and have crabgrass. We reached out to Matt via phone calls and texts. He will not return our messages. Very disappointed and would not recommend 316 Landscape.

Matt and his team showed up on time and completed the project quickly. Communication was great. We will definitely be hiring again for our next project.

Matt and his crew were excellent! Always arrived promptly, worked so hard I was a little worried (it was 100+ out!) and cleaned up after themselves beautifully -- that was just the FIRST project for MY place, then my daughter hired them to reconfigure existing fencing to enlarge her back yard, put in irrigation, weed barrier and pea gravel. The extra little touches added by this great crew (shout out to Sparky, Jacob, Kaden and "Psychedelic Tom Selleck LOL), like shoring up her pumpkin patch with found bricks etc. to retain water, were just wonderful. This team is the best and I have SO many more projects for them! Oh, did I mention how reasonable the pricing was? Well there, I did. Beat all other quotes hands-down.

Matt was super professional and got all the work done in a timely manner!! He is also a very nice person and made my mini garden so beautiful! I love my cactus garden as i love a dessert theme he was super knowledgeable about it. And was fairly priced for the amount of work he did!! Thank you Matt!!!

Matt and his did did an amazing job getting a really thick root removed under my sidewalk right against the house. They also poured concrete to fix sidewalk next to the house along with tree removal. They were fast, did a great job and were very kind. I use them all the time for yard maintenance now

Overall the project went very well. Matt and his team all showed up each day with great attitudes. They had all three massive trees down the first day, retaining wall built on the second and the gravel laid on the third. A project that would have taken me weeks took them a fraction of the time. I definitely plan to hire them again.

Having large dogs and not able to keep up with a sandbox of a yard with weeds, Matt suggested a gravel that would be gentle on their paws. Matt's professional and pleasant downhome demeanor made it easy to plan out what was best. I imagined what it might have looked like and 316 Maintenance delivered just what I wanted! They did an amazing job especially with the side of the house that was uneven before and even removed some old stumps. Definitely recommend this company and I plan to use them in the near future for the front yard.

I recently moved into a house in Albuquerque, and because of neglect while the property was vacant, the yard was an absolute disaster. Matt and his crew came out and removed all of the offending weeds, including, among other things, several large chamisas, a number of large elm saplings, some other large shrubs that prevented me from even accessing part of the yard, and a large area of what must have once been a lawn. We saved a few small lavenders, a nice looking privet, a small garden of cacti and succulents, and about a half dozen rose bushes, all of which were almost lost in the mess. After that was done, they put down weed barrier, covered the front and back yard with decorative gravel, and re-set the irrigation to the roses. After they left on the last day, about a half-dozen of my neighbors came over to tell me how great the yard looked. It took three solid days of hard work to finish the job, one day less than the original estimate of four. Every day they got started early and stayed late. We'll have them back out in a few months when the weather cools to do some new plantings, but for now I've got a neat, tidy, low-maintenance yard, which is exactly what I wanted.

I have used, or at least tried to use, Matt and his team for 2 jobs. On the first job he left the job partially done and then was impossible to get ahold of. When I finally got into contact, he then claimed he had a family emergency. I decided to give him another chance for a tree removal job and he again left it unfinished again! This time he claimed he was in the hospital but promised to finish the job when he got out but I never heard from him again. I called and texted multiple times but not so much as a word. Unfortunately I paid him upfront so lesson learned. Avoid him at all costs. Updated 7/29/21 I sent all our text messages from March - May to Angie's List review team to prove that I did hire you and you did know me. By the way, I had to pay someone else an additional $300.00 to clean the mess you left.

Matt and his team did a phenomenal job. We priced out quotes from a number of landscaping companies to remove a tree and install gravel in our backyard. 316 Landscaping were the lowest quote by far. Unlike some of the other contractors, there was no pressure to hire, although I knew we were going with them basically as soon as I'd talked to Matt. Even if they hadn't been the lowest price, he did a fantastic job of talking me through options and helping me make the best decision for our yard. He talked to me about the best way to remove the tree that none of the other landscaping companies did, which really helped save on cost. He also told me that he could get it done in a day, when at least one other company ballparked a week. Speed was important to us since we work outside the home and being around for a long-term project would have been difficult. Matt was extremely easy to work with, very flexible when I realized our measurements were a bit off and we had to recalibrate the quote, and did an awesome job communicating. They were extremely efficient, getting done in basically a morning. The crew was friendly but professional. They did a fantastic job. We're extremely happy with the work, and I can't say enough good things about Matt. We'll definitely be using them for any landscaping projects going forward!

Matt was awesome and easy to brainstorm with. The crew he sent was on time and ready to roll first thing in the morning. Laid 9 tons of gravel around house and set up my walkway perfectly with fabric & fine crusher gravel. Honest, reliable and competent company. Will be hiring again.

Everything went fantastic! Matt came and gave us a reasonable price for a sod installation job along with a few other jobs. He was timely and went above and beyond what we hired him to do! Amazing service! Have already referred him to family!

The grass install went fine. But the quote was to shape bushes, cut trees and fix drippers. Several appointments were made and not kept. I was put into appointment book and shown than I had a date and time booked. I texted and no reply and a no show for the appointment, not even to reschedule. Nice guys but no way to conduct business. I took care of everything myself.

From the 1st time I met the owner Matt I knew this job would be done well. He gave me a great price and started worked earlier than expected. The work was done well and my yard looks completely different than it did beforehand. Matt’s crew worked hard and even finished before their estimated timeframe.
