Small jobs welcome

"I'm very satisfied with the tree trimming work done by Shaddai Landscaping . They were quick to respond to my request and were prompt to arrive as scheduled. They explained what they would be doing for each tree and were efficient in getting it done. Cut and stacked the dead wood for firewood and cleaned the yard before leaving. I certainly recommend them!"

"Very good, and very pleased. Cut a number of large trees on 1 acre lot on sloped terrain, trimmed limbs from other trees. Cleaned up very well. Was able to provide quote at end of week, and completed job early next week. They have all the equipment and crew needed, made sure any follow-up work was taken care of. Recommend."

"Michael and Rapheal did a great job removing our tree. They also cleaned the area completely. After they left you would never know the tree ever existed, except for the small stump, We would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs landscape work."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, it’s okay to trim low branches on a tree, also known as limbing up or raising the crown. Essentially, you’ll trim the lower third of the tree (trunk) and leave the upper two-thirds of the tree (crown). Arborists recommend trimming 20% of a tree’s leaves per season for two to three seasons. Trimming low branches allows light to flow through the tree, increasing circulation and making the tree stronger and healthier.

If you’re wondering why tree trunks are painted white in your area, it’s usually to prevent sunscald, a condition where extreme shifts in temperature can cause tree bark to split. Fruit trees are especially vulnerable to sunscald, so this treatment is worth considering if it’s something that affects your trees.

While the fastest way to kill a tree is to simply cut it down, there are several other methods to choose from. You should hire a professional tree removal service to cut down a tree to ensure your personal and property safety. Some slower but effective options include treating or grinding the tree stump or using a basal bark treatment.

Yes, you can hire professionals to move a tree. Arborists and tree transplanting companies specialize in this type of work and use equipment like hydraulic tree spades to safely extract and relocate trees with their root balls intact. Since tree moving is a complex process, especially for larger trees, it’s best left to experts who understand how to protect the tree’s health and ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.
