"Very pleased with work Gus did. He was involved with much of the work himself. Quick demolition, nice job on new patio. Came out several times to prepare concrete for sealing. Used 2 coats to seal slab. He will also be installing a patio cover for me in the next month."

"We needed to transform an eroding flagstone staircase to a sleek concrete staircase. The price quoted was fair. The crew was on time and courteous. They worked diligently to complete the project to our satisfaction. Great job! I strongly recommend this company."

"People have actually asked me where I got the slate!  Both the driveway and the backyard look brilliant.  They showed up when they said they would, did the job in a timely manner and were incredibly professional.  From now on whenever I have any jobs in my house that need concrete I will not hesitate to contact them.

"They had to go out and purchase the gutter and supplies (I reimbursed them) which used up a fair amount of the time I was to have in the offer (4 hours) and when I discussed other things they might do in the 4 hours, they declined, stating those items were excluded from the offer or beyond what they could do (for ex, some door weatherstripping). I was very happy they did offer to come back and move a shed. It was an additional fee that I felt was very reasonable and well done.  It all evened out when added together.

"Guillermo responded promptly to my query.  We discussed the project.  He was open to my suggestions.  The team arrived on schedule on four occasions to pour a base, build the block section,  set the top, and then place the oven.  The work team was very conscientious and considerate.

"Saw it in my friends garage and decided i would get it done. Wonderful. Garage seems like it is part of the house. It was so good I immediately resurfaced the driveway. It is something that I notice every day. Really glad I did it. My wife now wants to use Prosper1 to resurface the back patio and swimming pool next spring. Much, much nicer than epoxy coating."

"SoDo did a very good job. They did a complete roof with ridge venting, new decking and new eaves. SoDo price was inline with other roofers for the roof and decking but SoDo include the eaves same price. They covered the ground while working and cleanup when they done."

Concrete Resurfacing questions, answered by experts

Like all concrete, pervious concrete is susceptible to cracking due to expansion and contraction from freezing and thawing or heavy weight. Pervious concrete, however, is less likely to crack due to moisture intrusion than traditional concrete since pervious concrete is designed to drain and hold water in the material’s voids.

If the cracks in your concrete patio are cosmetic, you can pour a concrete overlay over the patio to cover them up. However, you shouldn’t cover more severe cracks because the underlying damage will simply cause new cracks to appear in the overlay. Patio repair costs $750 to $2,500, depending on the type of repairs and the extent of the damage.

Costs depend on the extent, the material choice, labor, and any decorative finishes requested.

A resurfaced concrete driveway typically lasts between 8 and 15 years, with an average of around 10 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the quality of the original concrete, how well the resurfacer was applied, the amount of traffic it endures, and the local climate. Exposure to intense sunlight, rain, snow, and frequent temperature fluctuations can weaken the surface more quickly. To prolong its life, you should reseal the concrete every one to three years and patch any small cracks as they appear.

The best way to resurface a concrete porch is to clean and prep the surface, pour a layer of concrete on top, allow it to cure, then seal it. A concrete overlay provides a durable layer and enhances your porch's look. You can even choose a stamped overlay to make it look like stone or brick. To ensure structural integrity, repair concrete cracks before applying the new concrete. If the existing concrete is in significant disrepair, consider removing and replacing the concrete instead of an overlay.
