"I needed good quality blinds since Iâ m selling my home . Prices ranged in the thousands between companies . A big box membership store would refund me cash on a card to spend there but it seemed to be added onto the price they quoted me . So I would pay myself money that I spent with them so I could. Spend more money at thier store. . The owner joy was easy to work with . Knew the products off the top of her head . Her dad owned the company previously. Price was in range of where I wanted to be . She stayed in touch while we waited on blinds . Her installer was great . Professional and very good at his job . We had a glitch with a missing blind but they took care of it immediately . Mainly joy knew her stuff and didnâ t hard sell me . I wanted a stress free deal and I got that ."

"So far not so great. We had 5 windows installed on 12/31 and the job was not great. Each of the windows have a noticeable breeze coming in through the trim work (some leaking worse than the original window in its place). This in itself was just the start. They have been a nightmare to contact. We made several attempts through phone and email over two days, once being transferred 4 times before that rep tried texting our rep with zero success. It wasn't till we escalated higher that they finally got in contact. So far this has been a poor start to contract that we will be paying for many years. (Edit - Reduced to 1 Star. As we were told we would hear from the service team and after giving another two days there has still been no communication and no manager has reached out to us either, though the response from Andersen stated one would reach out ASAP. The lack of communication is severely disappointing. Finally had the team come a month later 1/31/25 drywall damaged during removal.) (Edit 2 - Wish I could take away the single remaining star. This company is so beyond incompetent and unprofessional. They do not care about their customers and continue to provide zero service. Today 3/1/2025 two months after install we were supposed to have the drywall repaired from the damage done on reinstall. The contractor never showed, never reached out and there was zero way for us to contact anyone within the company. After many attempts through email and phone we are left with no confidence that this will ever be fixed. DO NOT ALLOW THEM TO DESTROY YOUR HOME!)"

I am a Hunter Douglas Window Covering Expert and have been selling Window Treatments in the Albuquerque area for over 18 years. I started selling window coverings in my father's business, The Blind Man, while I was at UNM getting my psychology degree. After getting my bachelors I went back to school and received an associates degree in Interior Design to enhance my design skills. Over my almost two decades of selling window coverings, I have worked with thousands of customers to help select window treatments that are beautiful, functional, energy efficient, and add the finishing touch to their home.
