"They were extremely thorough.  They rented a special machine to 'scrub' the air and clean out the mold once and for all.  I needed to leave the house for 48 hours and also remove my indoor cats.  Initially they thought my goldfish would be okay so we left  her in the house.  When it was evident that she wouldn't be all right they took her out of the tank, put her in a 5 gallon tank that I had and put her in the safest part of the house.
When they came back a few days later to check how everything was one of the cats got into the crawl space.  I wasn't home and they were worried about the cat's safety.  They waited until she came out even though they had to stay and extra hour or so.

"TLC responded very quickly. One man showed up right away to assess the need for a team of repairpeople and how quickly we actually needed it. He determined that we did need a team and we did need them right away. There were actually two teams. The first two men diagnosed where the problem was and another team arrived immediately thereafter with the equipment needed to do the repair. A week later, but on a Monday, we woke to find the opposite side of the master bedroom was flooding. TLC immediately took care of that problem, also. We had been seeing TLC trucks all around the neighborhood; the houses are all 40 to 50 years old and developing the same problem, one after the other."

"Mariano Aragon did a fantastic job of repairing some seriously damaged areas in my kitchen and guest bathroom. After the plumbing repairs were complete both rooms were a disaster area. Mariano came to the rescue, rebuilt all the structural damage and did beautuful refinishing of the plaster and and a masterful job of marrying the new tiles he replaced with the existing tiles that weren’t damaged. I am more than happy with the final results! Mariano was cheerful, thoughtful and completely reliable through out the days of his restoration project for me. I highly recommend him for his excellent, inventive and superior work!"

"We needed someone to install tile around the bathtub at an apartment unit we own. Joey at 2 Daughters Handyman came to the rescue. He quoted us a fair price based on what we could see. However, once he started the work other complications were discovered such as mold behind the existing wall. Joey and his crew were able to take care of each issue and charged us a fair amount for the extra work performed. We were very impressed with his willingness to get the job done in a timely manner. He even went to two or three places on his own to find the tile we wanted. We will definitely use 2 Daughters again and would recommend them to anyone needing his services.

"Mr. Velarde is a true craftsman. He knows old buildings and how to fix them. I feel I can trust him in my home alone. I have hired him to do other projects and advanced him funds for materials. The only negative I have with Mr. Velarde is his being on a time schedule. If you are a "New York" type Mr. Velarde may not be the best match. But if you want a job done right I would recommend Mr. Velarde."
