"I Received a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and a revised estimate any time we discussed and agreed to any adds. The work was done very much to my satisfaction. All workers were very professional, obviously skilled to do their particular parts, and cleaned up and hauled away all trash and parts removed. I had a wall removed between the dining and living rooms, a dropped ceiling removed in the kitchen, several recessed lights added, and some painting. Jacob Ledesma, contractor, and I believe owner, is a consummate professional. His rates are very fair based on my research and other quotes obtained. "Truthfully, despite our communication issues he was initially very good with illustration of the idea of a wall with pillars for later use. He seemed fearful of my neighbors, more interested in their comfort, and therefore pulled a permit without consulting me about the location of the wall on the premises..... which led to the wall having to be built starting 3 inches within my property line. They were very punctual on showing up for construction, slightly messy (but nothing terrible), but they left the back of the wall (the side I can’t see from my property) totally unfinished with concrete. And, the “concrete” or “mortar” they used is already disintegrating less than a year after installation."

"Professional and prompt. Just be sure to patiently detail the work you need done and ask about the extra cost to pay with a card. For us, there were rocks I asked to be removed, which then exposed a small area on both sides of the retaining wall along the stairs. Now we have a problem of potential erosion onto dirt should it rain. That wasn't included in the work order. The other thing is that some of the resurfacing work on the retaining wall began to show cracks after two days. They quickly responded and repaired. I was told we had to try to keep that area wet for it to curate since this section doesn't get a lot of sunlight. Thank you, Art and crew, for responding quickly."

The mortar between the brick joints had loosened and a tree root pressing against the brick below grade caused the wall to crack from top to bottom between my yard and the neighbors yard.
